Dude, do you know how legitimate journalism works? They don't just go making up stuff. If there are several articles that say it and have remained for several years after the fact without a denial or correction then that is what happened.
Just read it. It states that it was REPORTEDLY stated. We all know what that means. But ok. Another Woody tale.

Translation: "I better back down now, maybe go in another direction and try to deflect... because Dak's stats ain't gonna work out for me after all."

Still want to pump up Dak's stats, troll?
Their stats are pretty similar. Not clearly stating that either one was better early on.

Gee, didn't expect this thread to turn into an ill-tempered discussion at all. Oh, heaven's no.

ESPN needs to do a 30 for 30 documentary on this topic and title it, "Once you go Dak ..."

Dez non-catch discussions are still more fun though.

He found out when he asked for an open competition for the job and was told no. He was better than Dak, no other reason to not have that competition.
When romo came in that philly game and threw those dimes it was obvious he was the better player. He retired at the right time with the back but he deserved a shot.
Dallas also has this weird energy surrounding witten romo and Garrett and we’ve heard odd rumblings for years so maybe you would have had locker room problems if you benched dak for romo.

Hahahahaha. You see how his clown azz went from “the stats clearly prove” to “But I meant to say”? LMAO. This bs is hilarious
You see how you went from... "the stats don't say that".... to "maybe they didn't"..

That's right back down troll before you get embarrassed any more than is possible with your constantly banned self.

Isn’t that funny about life.
Rooms clutch throws to crayton against the giants and dez at Green Bay we’re better plays than Eli’s random *** fluke helmet catch. But the fate went one way and the history books say romo you suck eli is a hall of famer.
Oh yea Seattle snap didn’t help. Regrettable play.

Romo was definitely the better quarterback at that moment. His experience alone dictated that. But his health and reliability was in question. Which is why he went into the booth instead of playing for another team.

Idk how old everyone here is but If you guys watch romo highlights you might be like holy **** I forgot how fun this guy was.

I don’t mean fun like it was a roller coaster like he was Inconsistent. I mean like this guy put his nuts out there on every play.

flippin...audibles until the last second, lol kill kill kill. High fiving refs. Moving the spot of the ball as a joke. I think I even saw him say hi to me from the stands once but I could be mistaken. He would duck dip dodge dive. He would fumble pick it up wipe the ball off spank your mother run home check on the oven and still make the big third down throw. This guy is what sports are about. My favorite all time athlete. He is better than the dallas cowboys

What Philly game? The one where nobody played lol? Even Romo admitted that meant nothing. Romo got no contact.
