Matt's as connected as the other "insiders" are now.

Not that teams don't use insiders to leak misinformation.

I can't remember which, but one of the big Dallas media guys said a week before the 2011 draft that the Cowboys had zero interest in Tyron Smith.
Our team doesn’t leak any misinformation. They have a hard enough time not exposing their draft board for all to see

We have limited talent behind those guys. No real #3 or #4. Plus we have no slot receiver.

Bryant was arrested
Smith is limited
Wilson is coming off injury
Rest of the guys are bottom of the barrel receivers.

Watch the Jets game how we operated without Cooper, a hurt Gallup and no Cobb (Slot WR).

A guy like Jeudy, Lamb or Ruggs gives us elite talent at 1-3 receivers. This draft is deep with receivers so first round isn’t a must. But I’m going BPA and avoiding a Taco situation

That's all good and dandy but you're telling me we can't use a 3rd round pick or something on one? We have to use our 1st pick on one? I feel like we have way bigger needs then a 3rd wideout.

And we will see more use of Pollard at wt from the backfield. We need defense.

I think taking a CB at # 17 will most likely be a reach. It seems a lot like the Taco pick. Stick to getting a great player at #17 regardless of position. You can get a marginal cb in the second. Don’t give #17 for a marginal cb.

If you really want to draft a cb higher than your second round pick, at least drop back down from #17 if you are going to draft that marginal player. Drop back 3 or 4 spots, add Murray or Gallimore and then maybe trade back up in the second.

What we “need” are great players, not reaches. If we had a first round pick last year we would have probably drafted Hill there and that would be two Taco/ Hill busts at DT. That’s what happens when you reach based on need. It seldom works out for you.

I’m all for drafting defensive players. In fact I would love to see us get Gallimore or Murray in the first in a trade back scenario. Although I could see Murray going right before we pick. That guy has crazy range.

We can’t force a pick and piss off the pick. We need every one of these to count.

An OT, QB or WR may well be the best player available when we go on the clock.

Kinlaw may actually last that long. Lamb may be a steal at #17.

Lamb and Henderson are 1a and 1b for me. I don't think either are likely to be there..but I shoot high
