I believe the confidence that’s coming from Dak’s side about holding strong to their desired number could mean that he is getting real interest from other NFL teams if he leaves Dallas. One team that could be potential landing spot is Atlanta Falcons that is loaded with talent but Ryan always seems to choke and come up short in big moments.

Hey, Dak don't let the door hit you in the A##.....

If the cowboys let dak walk after this season then shame on them. If he is your guy get him resigned this offseason, no excuse not to. If dak isnt your guy then he should be traded during the draft.

Letting him walk and getting nothing in return is a win for nobody.

I'm not sure other NFL teams can actually talk to him because even though he is not under contract with Dallas at the moment, because of the exclusive franchise tag he is still under the control of Dallas.

Dak isn't going anywhere. The Cowboys will cave to his wishes. If you're being honest with yourselves you know that's going to happen.

It's a win for the salary cap and a high draft pick next year. Two wins right there. Same as the season LOL.

Of course. Because that's Jerry's MO.

The only chance of him not getting signed is if he plays out the season under the cap. But I don't think that's going to happen considering what Dallas would have to pay Dak if they wait another year. So what's the deadline to sign a deal? If that deadline passes then Dak is on shaky ground with the Cowboys.

They can trade Ryan and off load part of his contract?

The prorated signing bonus and restructure from 2019 will bite them regardless of trade or cut.
They would save 5.5mil via trade, so only a 44mil dead cap hit, if they were to trade him prior to signing Prescott.
Even if they designate him as a June 1st cut, which will do them no favors in March of 2021, they eat 23.5mil in 2021 and then 26.5mil in 2022, while paying Dak Prescott market value.

They are stuck with him for another 2 years is my guess. They hitched their wagon to him for better or worse

Dak can't go anywhere unless the Cowboys allow him to go..this year and next year
Yes that is true.

Oh he can go to the gym..

then a bar

then watch his bank account dwindle.

We can dream about being a World Champion had he stayed in Dallas and handled things reasonably.

But each day that fades going forward.

You mean the quarterback that has more fourth-quarter wins than any other quarterback. The quarterback that has more prime time wins than any other quarterback. Do you even know anything about your quarterback . Just look at the guy that said you nailed it LMAO

You can throw out all the stats or game this or game that. The bottom line is that he has been bad against teams with winning record and hasn't done squat in the playoffs. If we want to keep lingering around the good but not great realm, fine, pay him what he wants. But we should all realize that is not a quarterback that can carry a team, the team has to carry him.

Unless the rules changed with the new CBA, the Cowboys could Franchise him for at least 3 years.

A 3rd consecutive Franchise Tag at other positions is very expensive because it jumps to the average of the top 5 QBs. For QBs it's still the average of the top 5 QBs.

The Cowboys will announce that Dak has been signed at some point when they can have a big press conference...

You couldn’t be more wrong. LMAO he has the best percentage of any quarterback Against winning teams. Again do you homework before you open your mouth. Unless you’re saying every quarterback that played this game sucks
