If him and dak work on the fade in the end zone, then of course he should come back. Dak’s inability to throw the end zone fade doomed dez’s career

dez should get mad respect for being a team player for rooting on dak in public when dak couldn’t make the throws that made dez a top 5wr
Dez Bryant doomed dez Bryant’s career. His lack of will to work his craft and become a better route runner doomed his career. His attitude of me first doomed his career. Larry Fitzgerald spent years getting getter while dez just out muscled people. Who’s still in the league? I love me some dez but don’t blame anyone but dez for his career path. No one takes accountability anymore

Then again, you should have mentioned that in your initial post. It was either an intentional omission or unintentional oversight in your original statement.

Just a likely a factor in Dez issue in finding another team is the fact that the Cowboys screwed him on when they released him. He was let go after the big money of free agency was spent.

Admitting it in one statement doesn't mean that someone can admit it all the time. As we're seeing here.

Or you can also have a tendency toward giving benefit of the doubt to the team as your go-to position? That's common among fans. Many people do not want to believe it when their favorite team does wrong. Some take that position to the extreme and to the point of willful ignorance and flat-out defense of every move the team makes.

Amen!

While the timing of Dez’ release probably wasn’t beneficial to Dez at the time, wouldn’t you agree that even if that was a factor at the time it surely didn’t keep him from getting signed during the following two off seasons since then?

It’s pretty hard to sell that every team still wants Dez and yet he still remains unsigned. Is it more probable that there are teams who still want him or that no team wants him because he is unsigned currently.

I’m not knocking you, but I mean, really, if you are using reason, which do you think it is?

It certainly never helped things. That's the point you seem to want to try to minimize.

Check out that special forum that's been recently created for a significant factor right now.

I happen to know that there were in fact several. I've done my homework.

Based on last weeks information there is clearly no interest from the Cowboys.

Wouldn't surprise me. I just think for those clinging to hope that he might be back, I just think they aren't going to make any move until after the draft.

Personally, I am a bit disappointed in how they've handled the slot WR to date. I have to assume they are thinking they can find a slot in a deep WR draft.

I agree with you, I think that if Dez does get a chance from the Cowboys, it will be after on-field activities can resume.

Meanwhile, back on the ranch, teams are signing other players, but not Dez. I’m sure there is some reason other than he is a secret weapon in hiding.

I agree that Dez kind of soiled his own career. But I wonder if its to late for him to come back and give a better effort. He lost his motivation I think when Romo left. As much as people hate on Romo for choking at the end of seasons. You cant ignore the fact that Romo could toss that rock to Dez and Witten like it was a walk in the park. Chemistry is huge with a wide receiver and a Quarterback. I think if Dez can come back with a great attitude and give it his all, we can have a weapon. We have Cooper to run the tough routes and Dez can focus on the fade.

Sure, maybe they’d like to see him on the field and work him out themselves?

But nah, you keep on with your agenda thing and ignore that too.

This is the longest offseason in history.
Off seasons are like QB contracts. The current one is the longest/biggest one...then the next one is the longest/biggest one...and on and on..

The reality would seem to indicate that no one wants him at this point because they haven’t signed him yet. I don’t think he would add anything to the Cowboys team, so, I don’t want to see him return.

We can agree to disagree.

Nobody who knows him will expect him to be a pass blocking demon.
He'll gain YACs. It's his strong suit if his past means anything.

Fair enough! Tactfully and respectfully handled.

Kudos!
