“Do the right thing.”

Please Jerry.. Please sign away your teams future because you have a decent QB and if you have a decent QB you have to give them whatever they want because it’s just way to risky to draft a rookie and hope they could be a good QB too.

Stick with the mediocre plan.

It will only be a worse number 2 - 3 years if Dak plays well

I do think Dallas should sign him but he either takes less money or more years. He cant win everything & I hope Dallas starts looking for a replacement starting with this draft.

And I do not want to hear how Dallas had him cheap these last several years. Its not the Cowboys fault he fell to the 4th round.

Thank the gridiron heavens for the Giants and Skins.....:muttley:
Let me educate you as you obviously are like 12 and have no idea about the NFC East. Every team in the NFC East hates the other team with a passion. There are other divisions like that, but none like the NFC East. Google the Bounty game. Google George Allen and the trash talking he did. Google Buddy Ryann and his crap. There is no easy game in the NFC East no matter the record. Just so you know in Aikmans rookie year they were 1-15. The only game they won was against the Commanders who were undefeated at the time. This isn’t Madden, it’s the NFL. Learn your history before sticking foot in mouth like you just did.

You and the rest of the Dak-Employees here truly have my sympathies.
Not only have you been wrong on all your Dak theories but you are also without a future as Jerry refuses to buy into Franchise Dak as no contract is on the horizons.
GL as I sincerely feel you will need it as your future here along with the rest of the Dak-Employees is almost at its end.

P.S. The above is what happens when you place a single inept player above the TEAM.

Can’t argue my point about the NFC East games being tough so you try and change the narrative. Typical of you. When you post, someone proves your wrong and either you slither away and hide or you try and change the narrative.

The Cowboys are the ones trying to win everything. They are offering less guaranteed money on a longer contract. The Cowboys need to give somewhere if they want a deal done.

Well.. Just because it’s not front page of the Dallas Morning News doesn’t mean you can find the details from those in the know.

If you don’t buy that what I said is the hold up that’s fine too.
lol - and who is "in the know"? Lots of media claim to have "sources" or to have "heard whispers from inside the Stat", and any reader can choose to believe whichever report or reporter they choose, and ignore the fact that the media does not have an unblemished track record with these kind of reports. It doesn't mean much to me. Until we know it's just media speculation and fans believing whatever narrative suits them.

I think both sides need to compromise if a deal is destined to be struck. They're both being far too stubborn in their demands. It's well past time to bargain in good faith and allow compromise to prevail. Both sides are being stubbornly unreasonable, imho. Admit it or not, they surely need one another.

where did you hear that cause I heard Dallas is willing to give on the money and the guarantee but want a 5 year deal where Dak wants a 4.

You are not much of a teacher. I think any Cowboy fan knows the history, but it has nothing to do with both teams being really bad the last few years and Dak benefitting from it.

Every article and info that I have read or seen says the exact opposite. From everything that I have read or seen, Dallas has give Dak everything that he has asked for except a deal for 4 years instead of 5. All the sports shows says that Dak is not negotiating at all.

The most guaranteed money I've seen reported as an offer from the Cowboys is $105 million.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...monster-contract-with-105-million-guaranteed/

The only info not given is the number of years, but it has been widely reported that the holdup is the years. According to this second article, Dak should be getting $125 million guaranteed minimum on a five year extension.

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/amp...cowboys-projection/1w1hclobw1xl21chfj8am7hnc6

"Prescott will be aiming to exceed the current highest guarantee of $110 million in Goff's contract. With Goff having 82 percent of his contract guaranteed and Wilson at 76 percent, it's logical to figure Prescott's guarantee will land at a minimum of $125 million (71 percent of the $175 million) on a five-year deal. Mahomes will also blast by that mark when his new deal is done."

You can read the whole thing if you wanted but it is super long so I just quoted the relevant part. The whole article does do a solid job recapping the full situation.

Then explain to me the 1-15 Cowboys team who beat the undefeated Commanders.

Jerry will cave.

It's just what he does.
I don’t think I he will in this case. I think Dallas knows what they have in Dak and won’t budge on the price tag they deem fair. I think dak plays hard ball and eventually gets what he wants, which may be out of Dallas and into a Dolphins uniform. Lol nah idk where but I feel like he may be out...

Do you have any links? I haven't seen any info about what Dak is even asking for.

For that to be the case (if in fact it is) BOTH parties would have to have agreed to everything except the length of contract. Ultimately though, there are no substantiate reports on any of it.

Nor have we seen anything but unsubstantiated reports about what the Cowboys have offered Dak
I think it’s pretty clear Dak is wanting much more than we are willing to offer at this time.

Two more years we should pretty well know what we have. If McCarthy hasn’t done anymore with Dak then it’s time to move on.
