Carson Wentz CAN'T play at an MVP level WITHOUT a Superbowl team....yep they won without him and carried Nick Foles too.
Now guys like Dan Orlovsky are hyping Wentz by cherry picking 8 games span in 2019 in which Wentz carried backup players to a playoff loss.... it's amazing how Wentz's accomplishments always have him CARRYING the Eagles smh

Exactly right! King can say whatever he wants but back in 2016 (when the draft actually was) Dak was nowhere to be found on any board. Dak has overperformed his 4th round comp selection but none of that changes where he would still be drafted back in 2016......Wentz and Goff would still go in the top 2 picks and Zeke probably still goes in the top 5 if not top 10 for sure along with Ramsey and Buckner, 4 years later changes nothing about what still would have happenned back in 2016...lol

With that being said, I'd still choose Dak over Wentz because of Dak's intangibles, leadership and durability. It is no contest Dak has been better than Wentz overall so far.

Best case scenario that draft is Bosa failing to us and we also dont take dak and Romo never gets hurt that year , take Henry in the second round but that didnt happen.. SMH half this forum is Fantasy island with Opinion based rhetoric saturated with narratives..

Probably because when you watch Dak really struggle to move the ball against the Bills and Bears but then you watch Wentz make enough plays to beat those teams you scratch your head and realize oh wait a minute. Wentz made some very difficult throws that Dak can't make. Wentz has a better record against common opponents with a winning record. And Dak only has a decent record against Wentz due to injuries.

Dak had 334 yards against the Bears, lmao Wentz had 239. Wentz had 172 yards against the Bills and 1 TD, Dak had 355(more than twice as many) and 2 TDs.

I've seen people talk out of their arse on here, but this takes the cake. Wentz winning shows that it's a team game.

Dak made some very difficult throws Wentz couldn't make.

Fun stat: you said Dak struggled to move the ball against Chicago. Dak had more yards in that one game than Wentz had in a game all season long.

Even though I think most people would have taken Wentz, the real point here is that Dak has been good enough to be in that top 4 range, and the resources invested in RB have been a huge mistake.

I kind of get what King did, but it ignores that the Eagles traded the farm to move up and draft a QB. Wentz should be at #2 on his list.
