so, you know it is impossible to talk about this and not break the rues about corona virus talk, right?
That being said, people are already at bars , no masks, side by side and it is MAY. By Sept, if the virus hasnt exploded due to reopening, they will have NO PROBLEMS getting fans to attend these games.

Also, throw in the fact that the ticket prices will not be ridiculously priced on stub hub and similar ticket venues for obvious reasons.
Oh I don't think they will have issues fielding the stadiums. I think they will have issues fielding the stadiums and not having repercussions come from it.

Indeed. Just one more step in a positive direction. Not three weeks ago it was all gloom and doom here - it's great to see that we're taking positive steps toward games in September. To me, seems inevitable now.
players will be self isolating as much as humanly possible. I wonder if they do what baseball is talking about.... which is essentially self containing all involved in the game sin their own mini city.

There is no doubt in my mind they will attempt to have games go off as scheduled, with or without fans as dictated by the current virus state of affairs.

So this means LVE, Conner Williams and Crawford can report Tuesday?

Exactly what I think they're going to consider. In fact, one owner has already implied it's something he thinks may work. If you think about, partially filled stadiums are better than nothing. Not to mention you can gradually increase as the season goes on. For example, The Cowboys would be only allowed to sell 25% AT&T 90k capacity ( approx 22.5K tickets) as the season starts.

Rules / suggestions will be at least 50% capacity in a few weeks, or seems to be heading that way.
If you seen photo's on peoples face book, websites, Instagram and such, many places aren't even going by the rules. places are packed.

Wisconsin, 2 hours after their Supreme Court ruled the stay at home order unconstitutional, the bars were packed wall to wall.
I actually believe they ruled that so the Packers could hold meetings and practices.

I was thinking about how Covid could ravage a locker room, much like the flu, and let’s say 26 guys get it. That would mean they wouldn’t have enough players to field a team on Sunday as they would all be in quarantine.

Do they forfeit or what?

Postpone the game. What else could they do?

the military probably cant even talk like that anymore. I can see recruits now requesting to see the platoons CO so they can report those mean drill instructors for using such mean language.

smh

More PC stuff, ruining what needs to be done. I will not use the real term.

Like the NFL has been putting dresses on QB's over the years. :muttley:

yeah man it's depressing. like imagine our current recruits in war lol. We probably wouldn't be able to beat a bunch of malnourished and impoverished southern asians...

they would have to really have to quarantine the players because if one of them throws a massive party and gets sick the season would be over

If it's under state guidelines I feel sorry for the California, New York and Michigan teams.
They might as well cancel their seasons.

Can anybody answer me this?

Opening for purposes of easing into playing football sounds cool..

But..

According to current reports, they treated one of our aircraft carriers that had 200+ virus infected crew.

Now 3 weeks later, the crew has been reinfected.
So what happens when half our team gets exposed..we going to put them all in quaranteen?

Are they going to call off games to avoid more infections?

What happens if Zeke dies from Covid?

Are we going to get his cap back?

These may seem crazy but these are questions people are afraid to ask.

But they must be discussed.

This is reality.

Making plans to play games sounds fine to the general public..

but these are human lives here.

No cure..no games to me.

Peoples lives are being destroyed. I have totally lost my business becuz of the virus.

It's gone, I am out of work.

And I am not excited about what is coming.

They could do a card system only at the concessions and only do can/bottle beer only sell food/snacks that is
pre-sealed.put wipes at the register so each customer cleans the card machine. shield guards up that pop up at each seat and still limit the count of how many can come in. Take temps at door. people wearing masks No tailgating out front.
The one thing is if they dont have a virus vaccine by then it can make it very hard because Winter is flu season and this could pop its ugly head up again.
As bad as i hate to say it cause I look forward to football season it could go to a pay per view to watch the games this fall.

they will continue to closely monitor the situation. If we appear to be having a set back with folks getting sick in higher numbers, this can change on a dime. We have to reopen the country, football is part of that. Yep, its scary, but we can do both....meaning reopen for sports, and be smart about it.
