Ask Dak's agent if he would be open to a trade?

Dak is biding his time. There is really no point in getting impatient about it until July. If he doesn’t indicate he’s willing to sign something by then, I’d start making calls.

So this is what happens when you know you’re on the losing side and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Facts, stats, reality... none of them are on your side. Dak will make at least $31m in 2020 alone, to play for the Dallas Cowboys and nobody else.

Only option left for these lowly imbeciles: convene on CowboysZone and cry together about it like some *****es!

Dak wins. His haters lose. Because winners win and losers lose.
No one would be opposed to Dak making 31 million a year.
He wants way more on a shorter contract.
He's getting more than 31 on a franchise tag.

Jerry Jones is the biggest Dak slobberer of all. Had he used the transition tag the Dak question would've resolved itself.

Ol' Jerry was afraid he'd lose his QB and would have to start over at age 77.
Now that the draft is over and teams are settled at QB. I might be a good idea to pull the exclusive tag and use the transitional tag. Outside of N.E., I don't see anyone trying to signing Dak away from Dallas.

Dak is that QB, that is ok at everything. With our weapons, it helps him exceed his potential.

Just to sum it up and I’m sure everyone has had this conversation with a friend before, just replace the gender with your preference.

“Yo, is your friend hot?”

“....

She’s nice.”

In football terms (lol) That’s Dak. Nice.

LOL “no one” would be opposed to that?

You’re giving far too much credit to some of the rock-headed trash on this board.

There are posters who would rather have Dalton over Dak, even if their salaries were equal.

Some kind of trade would be possible, not not for a first rounder like the team would probably want. I think they could get a third for him, or maybe a second.

If we got 0 compensation and nothing but cap space then it would be a big W. Anything else is a cherry on top.

Who is giving us a 1st rounder plus paying Dak that money?

The staff is sold on Prescott and has stated over and over that he is the future QB in Dallas. It comes down to contractual details. Some fans are hellbent on saying otherwise.
