It continues to amaze me how many times this pink has been in or around trouble and people still support him like he’s the one being victimized. Good citizens, professionals or not, don’t constantly have these issues year after year.

When will the homers wake up and realize these aren’t just a series of bizarre instances, the only constant is zeke.
he is a cowboy, and one of the stars on the team, and it is called "hero worship"

Did you try pressing charges for something like criminal negligence?
Most folks go to an attorney from yellow page ads. Big mistake. Vet your choice of an attorney well. There are specialists for all manner of suits. Civil or criminal is irrelevant in personal injury suits. You can get huge settlements in a civil suit.

I’ll never get it, if I don’t like a player due to their personality, behavior, morals, whatever it may be I will never support them off the field just because of the uniform they wear. What’s even more mind boggling is how people can flip a switch with their own values just like that, they really don’t like a player but will support him no matter what and as soon as they put on another jersey then all of the sudden their beliefs are back in play and he’s a piece of trash for all the things he did as a Cowboy (but it didn’t matter then because he was a Cowboy).

I'm not saying that’s the case with everyone but I’ve seen it with plenty of other players that have come and gone. It makes me question how much those people actually believe in themselves and/or their own values if you can turn them in and off due to a jersey.

It also doesn’t mean I can’t support him on game day. I don’t care if I hate him or if I think he’s the worst RB in the league, I still want him to succeed only to help the team win but other than that I will continue to call him out and I hope he does something dumb to lose every cent he has and ends up in a homeless shelter for the rest of his life (unfortunately that will never happen but I can dream, ha).

The dog ultimately got hit by a car. Neighbors came out to assist my wife and dog. I took my wife to the clinic, neighbors took the dog to an animal hospital. The owner of the dog eventually showed up at the vet and the dog died.

You have to fill out an animal bite form, which we did. It gets an investigation going into whether or not the dog had rabies and/or needs to be put down, quarantined, etc. The vet was able to confirm the dog didn’t have rabies and the dog died so there was no need to do the investigation. The case was pretty much documented and just closed.

We couldn’t even get anyone to tell us who the dog owners were. Police wouldn’t help, the vet couldn’t release the pet owner information, the city wouldn’t let me know the information, and a lawyer wouldn’t take the case.

The city did say I could file an open records request and I was finally able to get a copy of the dog bite form which contained the pet owners address. It took weeks just to get the address. I went and knocked on their door and confirmed they were the owners. They were unwilling to help and the cops would just direct me to get a lawyer.

I was shocked at how unwilling to help out everyone one was when it came to trying to hold the owners accountable.

I even tried to get them to file a homeowners insurance claim to see if their insurance would cover medical bills. They were Mexican nationals and paid cash for their house. They don’t have insurance so I couldn’t even go that route.

we know NOTHING. Let it play out. Its something only Zeke knows. We are not privy to the facts and details.
We can speculate until we do know more. In case you haven’t noticed, almost every thread is speculation from trade offers to coaching to how the season will go to what stupid thing zeke will do next to what really happened. That’s what happens in sports forums, amongst many others.

Thanks for the advice though, I’ll still continue to speculate until we know more.

A bit off topic and sorry if I missed it but I’m really curious now. How did your wife get bit (if you don’t mind sharing)?

Is this Zeke not appreciating the dry humor and lashing out, or is it a attempt to be clever and take a swipe at the victim of the dog attack with plausible deniability?

The problem is Zeke now has a pattern of seeing himself as a victim, and being unwilling to take responsibility for his actions. Is Zeke unlucky to have multiple cases of people taking advantage, or does he need to take a look at his behavior.

She does strength training in the morning. In between sets she will run down the road to increase heart rate and then walk back while the heart rate decreases. Do another set, rinse/repeat.

Dog was on the loose in the street and my wife tried to lure the dog over to get it out of the street. Dog ran over to her and bit her on the hand.

It only required about 5 stitches but the swelling didn’t go down and a couple of weeks later she had to see a hand specialist. After an MRI they determined she had nerve damage and she had months of physical therapy.

She didn’t need surgery but at that point it wouldn’t have cost us much more out of pocket money. She was near her out of pocket maximum already, which was close to $3500.

If you are a celebrity then you are a target 24/7. That's a fact. Under normal conditions, if there is a "negative interaction" with another, then there might be some verbal disagreement and then most go on their merry way.

However, if the other person is known to be wealthy, that all changes. The situation becomes very exaggerated in the social media, there is more of a victimization mentality. Lawyers will solicit themselves as obtaining justice while realizing that even a little push will result in some settlement from a lawsuit.

I'm talking about generally harmless interactions, of course. I'm obviously not referring to the real stuff like domestic abuse, rape, etc.

And of course, you don't make the situation worse by insulting the other party through social media.

Dang, that sucks. People suck. Not only letting their dog run around loose, which obviously hurt your wife and cost you money but eventually cost the dog it’s life and then the owners still wouldn’t pay.

I hear you. I am less concerned about the owner and more concerned about the law in Texas. The dog was scared, she tried to help, and an unfortunate incident occurred. Stuff happens, but if your dog bites someone, you should be liable.

Here's the post that started this ............

Remember...........like I said, every story has 2 sides (LOL)

We reached out to the Frisco Police Dept. over the allegations ... and a spokesperson said animal services did respond to an incident at Elliott's home on March 11, but the spokesperson says no criminal charges were filed.

And AV response........
Regardless if they were involved or not, they wouldn’t arrest him for the dog bite. Dog bites are civil issues not criminal.

Like the tuna use to say, "there are 2 sides to a pancake".

Stupid people who can't control their vicious dogs usually end up paying for big lawsuits. In this case, these dogs' attack on her was severe enough to where this lady required surgery. She has every right to be suing Zeke for his inability to control his well known attackful types of dogs. He's lucky she is only suing him for $200k. If it was my daughter who got mauled to the point she needed surgery, I would be suing that idiot for several million!

That's insane. Why are you suing for several million? Is that how much the surgery costs?

I'll give Zeke a pass. I was off the bandwagon long time ago though. I did not think he conducted himself like a Franchise player (see Vegas Athlete vs Security guard) in the past. Either way at least it was better than public interactions. This is a simple local ordinance offense. I love dogs. No matter the outcome, the owner has the burden to bear. Keep your dogs leashed!!.But my granddad had those night-walker dogs...kept the farm safe!
