Since jimmy left, parcells was the only good foach of the cowboys. Here's hoping mac will be a great coach.

There are missed "bad throw, open retriever missed, fumble, dropped pass, missed FG, etc " on every team - every game in the NFL. Thats part of the game. We were out coached & out game planned. It has been bad....real bad.
So it was all the coaches fault, never the players, got it.

that isnt the point. There has been a body of work and yes its on the coach.
But it is, I already said the koaching is partly to blame but your saying it’s all on the koaching.

The crying about coaching by this embarrassment of a fan base continues. We can objectively look at Garrett’s coaching record and easily see that he is in the top 25% of coaches who have ever coached in the NFL. We can also see that after a decade here without a championship, he had far longer than most coaches eve got and it was fair to dismiss him.
But what do you expect from a fan base that’s so dim-witted, that they literally thought that Garrett sabotaged himself in a lame duck season after a 3-0 season? That’s the kind of stupidity we’re dealing with here. Going to laugh in each one’s face at the end of next season when nothing has changed and they’re fumbling for their low IQ excuses.

How was it a lame duck season? Play well get an extension, suck and don't. lol We all know how that went. There was never any doubt even after a 3-0 start. Top 25% is an even bigger joke while you count those crap wins in 2010 or the amazing 6-0 game against the Eagles backups or how they went on to beat the worst team in football after failing to clinch a playoff spot. The guy sucked. Period. Time to raise the bar a little bit. Anyone still defending this clown is a sad football fan. He had no business here in the first place. A terrible hire back in 2007 who should've been fired the same day as Phillips.. But according to some there's no difference between him and coaches with actual resumes. He's just as good as Reid, Payton, Landry, Johnson, Bellichick, Carroll, McCarthy etc etc minus the actual winning of course. Top 25% yet his playoff record is a joke. Can't look anymore lost after getting into January as he has.

During the majority of Romo’s career, Garrett was rarely, if ever blamed. It was the defense, Dez not knowing how to run routes, Romo supposedly checking out of run plays, Wade running camp cup-cake. The amount of people defending Garrett, particularly in the media was endless. There were very few people on this forum blaming Garrett and his play-calling and his stifling of Romo, Witten and other players careers. If Romo had a legitimate play caller, things could have been different.

Garrett as play caller, Dallas averaged 7.8 points a game in the first half in his last year, meaning the Cowboys had to traditionally abandon the game plan and Romo was caught bailing them out. That was good for 28th in the league. They were 31st in rushing attempts and bottom five in play action usage.

2011 they were bottom half, at 17 and 11.4 points. They only time they ever exceeded the bottom half of the league was in 2007 and that was because Sparano was baby-sitting him, but problems started to rear its ugly head in the passing game in the last few games of the season. As soon as Sparano left, Garrett became a bottom half of the league in scoring OC.

He should have been gone ages ago and he was supposedly hired for his brilliant offensive mind. I mean look at the guy. He took Marc Columbo with him to NY Giants. The guy only knows his guys.

The first year they took some of the reigns away from Garrett and gave more power to Romo, Dallas jumped to 5th and 5th again in first half scoring in 2014.
