I know it's been said, but I think Jerruh has a massive man crush on Trevor Lawrence and I could see him trading our future for him next year and letting Dak walk barring a Super Bowl run. The price for Lawrence will be ridiculous unless we tank or are just plain awful though lol.

It's a risk for all parties involved literally as we speak.
Why do you assume without Dak, we tank?

This team is loaded with talent and Dak is not better then Dalton

if there is a season this year, it will be a waste of time and money invested in Dak-Moron, he is not even worth the tag money.

No. Both sides have too much pride to give in now.

it doesn't matter if Dak signs today or plays on the franchise tender because I just don't think there will be a football season this year

Hard to believe they will get a deal done, so probably plays on the tag.

this is very important part of the equation.

Yes, because that part of the equation dwarfs everything else and makes it meaningless. Might explain why the Cowboys might not be in any sense of urgency. Would you buy a car now if you cannot use it until next year?

Dak is a better QB than Dalton (IMO, Dak it top 10-12-ish and Dalton might be around top 15-20 with this supporting cast), but I'm not sure Dak at more than 35 million/yr is better than Dalton at, say, 15-20 million/yr plus what the extra money can get you in FA.

exactly. heck, if we don't get some form of effective treatment or vaccine in the manufacturing pipeline soon we could be in almost the same situation in July 2021.

Doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen, and I’m genuinely surprised.

Good job by the team sticking to their guns. They should feel insulted that Dak is passing up such a generous offer.

I am almost. Daks agent shouldn’t have pulled out of the deal early in the season. Probly had a gentlemen’s agreement. JJ is mad so he will cost us millions on the cap.
