This could be.

Dak might feel better away from the drama.

Coaches who probably are invested in the 'team' concept..

might look at it like if you are not here but COULD be here if you really wanted to be here .

might think that.

But with a signed Tag..he is.

Going forward could prove hard to do with a crumbling cap

I must say..Dalton has sure improved his possibility of extending his career.

Who would have thunk.?

This is why Dallas should have let him test the market, and the franchise tag game is unfair. A player should be allowed to pursue their value on the open market.
lifes not fair and he didnt have to sign his first deal( go work in the real world and see whats fair) and went elsewhere nor did he have to sign the FT..however i wanted him on the Non exclusive tag so we can all see Daks true market.. BUT 31.5 mil is somehow unfair? next years tag 37mil?

we will get to see that this off season coming..

I mean. If he doesn’t say or or show it, that means it’s just the coach giving his own opinion.

It may or may not be right. But it’s just his opinion

I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibility that if a player feels extremely disrespected by ownership in some way or multiple ways over the course of a year or two that they MAY indeed want to test other waters. I mean if I feel my bosses are doing me dirty over and over, I'd look for a different place to take my skills as well but with that said it's all about perception by both parties. It could be that Dak feels disrespected AND the Cowboys owners (as we've heard rumors before) are not 100% into Dak. That could also be untrue as none of us are in the building or close to the Jones' boys.

Wolf cookies.

Dak has been nothing but a professional through all of this. Besides, he's too intelligent to show his hand.

This "coach" that's been mentioned probably misinterpreted Dak's body language. It's more likely that Dak doesn't want that coach on the team.

A team with one of the best RB's in the league, a strong O-line, three potential #1 WR's, a Super Bowl winning coach.....Dak doesn't strike me as someone willing to pass on the best opportunity in the league to win a championship.

I understand if he wants to torture management a little, Jerry resorted to the usual petty tactics, taking the issue to the media, acting as though Dak might be replaceable this season, putting pressure on Dak by announcing a deal was imminent. He still hasn't learned that his arrogance makes people want to screw with him.

I remember Jerry announcing that Dak wasn't going to be suspended, making Goodall look like a puppet. They probably did have an understanding but it was Goodall's prerogative to announce it. That's probably why Dak was suspended after all.

This is confusing. He doesn't want to be on the team but won't say it or show it? Well then how does the coach know? Mental telepathy?

Why wouldn't Dak want to be here? He's got a good OL, a good TB, loaded at WR. He likely won't find a better situation anywhere in FA that will have the talent around him that he has here next year. Being the Cowboys QB is a money maker in terms of endorsements and national appeal. And in the end, he's going to be offered a pretty lucrative contract again by the Cowboys at some point.

If he doesn't want to be here, then he's pretty dumb. And if the Cowboys know he doesn't want to be here, then they better draft a QB high next year.

I'll be honest, Dak should tell his brother to shut up. I wouldn't want my brother pissing all over twitter about my situation.
You might not, but maybe Dak does. Who knows?
