Trade Dak now !!!! maybe another team can over paid and give 2, 1 round for Dak-Moron....
if a team wanted dak dont you think they would have asked jerry about trading for him? yes they would have they know the situation so where are all the offers?

Some franchises are actually all-in on winning championships, others are content just talking about it.

Anyways, here comes the "they paid too much" crowd.
When Seattle won it all and nearly did again for the back to back.... they didn’t pull a move like this.

Wpuld I have loved Adams in this team... no doubt... but giving up that 2nd first round pick is WAYY too much for him...

2 1st rounders in my eyes is reserved for a franchise QB, elite DLine, or elite LT. Oh and they better be barley hitting their prime

.....and just like not caving in to Rayne insane demands, the FO scores another victory not selling the farm for Jamal.

...........not getting tired of winning.......off the field, of course

many offers are not disclosed quickly, many times we know about offers until after a while

but well, we have to be realistic, at least give us a combo of Jack in the box for him ... anyone?

With the defense we have we need players who create turnovers and Adams isn’t a ball hawker. He’s only had two career INT’s. He’s forced a few fumbles but we would have been crazy to pay what the Seahawks did. It may work out for them but it wouldn’t have been a good move for us.

If you think Seattle will be fine without those two picks, remember what it was like not having a first the year after trading for Cooper. Jimmy Johnson would have traded Adams away as well. Who’s to say the Jets don’t trade those two #1’s and turn them into 5-6 players. This trade cannot be truly judged till 3-4 years from now.
  • Does Adams play a key role in turnovers and winning a SB in Seattle?
  • Do the Jets use 2 years in a row of having 2 first round picks to reconstruct their roster and become a relevant contender?
  • Does Adams new contract cost Seattle other players who have to walk in free agency.
  • Wilson is already trying to make magic without quality on the OL or at WR....it’s possible, but the odds of successfully addressing those issues drops significantly in the next two drafts.
In the best trades, both sides get better. We shall see.

At least this will put an end to the speculation and threads about Adams.

And the first time Adams intercepts a pass that was thrown right to him, I guarantee the announcers will go on and on about what a great trade it was!!

Wow what a deal for the Jets. They get a starting safety, and 3 premium picks for 1 player at a non-premium position. This board would be burning if the Cowboys gave up that.

Adams forced his way out of New York. We’ll see how it works out for Seattle or if he eventually creates a problem for them. I’m very leery of players who become so full of themselves they force a trade.

I guess a 1-1 Super Bowl record forgives some of their first rounders not panning out.

Not sure where the Dallas first round draft supremacy adds to their bottom line in comparison.

I know, Before
It was all Garrett's fault.
Or Romos
The defense

Or now
Garrett again
Dak
Zeke
Defense again
Marinelli

And if all else fails....drumroll

Blame it all on Jerry!

Think that about covers it, lol :)
I’m simply talking the draft, not about records.

If you want to talk about that then have at it... it certainly will reflect better on Seattle than Dallas. That’s a given.

Interesting that Seattle found it ok to give up all those picks for Adams, but dont look to be interested in bringing back Clowney at all.

Extremely interesting to me.

Imagine the stir that would have been created had the Cowboys made this trade and made Adams the highest paid player in the league with Dak still looking for a new deal. lol You can’t be paying all these players and not your franchise QB. Adams is looking for around 15 million per season. With all the big contracts the Cowboys just paid out and with Dak still looking for a contract extension they couldn’t afford Adams.

Raiders received:
2019 first round (running back Josh Jacobs at No. 24 by Raiders)
2019 sixth round (cornerback Blessuan Austin at No. 196 by Jets)
2020 first round (cornerback Damon Arnette at No. 19 by Raiders)
2020 third round (receiver Bryan Edwards at No. 81 by Raiders)

Bears received:
Mack
2020 second-round pick (tight end Cole Kmet at No. 43)
2020 seventh-round pick (offensive lineman Arlington Hambright at No. 226)

definitely less
