Peters' agent should have negotiated an incentive into his contract if playing LT was going to be part of the deal. Period !

3 years ago he was a premier tackle but he has had injuries and looks too fat to play on the outside to me! As said above, any bad news coming out of Philthy is good news to this Cowboy fan !!!!

I hope Peters becomes a huge distraction. Philly fans love drama so let them have all they can consume.

What is softer?

Wentz’s whole body or Sean Lee’s hamstring?

I hope they burn. Team will implode. Fans will turn at the drop of a dime. Wait until Wentz is injured again.
Oh, seen something that he is dealing with a soft tissue injury. But not expected to be serious. some tweet out there about it.
Hurts may well be the QB in waiting. Stay tuned.

Eagles lost 2 starting OL and may have to move the old big fat OL back to OT. Their WRs are not very good and the 1st rd pick WR is out for a few weeks. Wentz is so-so and their secondary is trash.

And they are still an 8-8 team? Must have an awesome DL, LBs, TEs, and RBs to make up for the weaknesses. Or is it their coach is just so good?

They have a good d-line, solid LB's and their TE is top 3 at his position. If they pick up Fournette that's the RB.

They also play Washington twice a year and the Giants. I think they are an 8-8, 7-9, 9-7 team. They get some players back during the season.

I can't stand them, but they are always in the hunt for the division. I hope it is not the case but it has been the past 5 seasons.

Heck look at our tackles. Tyron Smith is out of practice a second time with an injury. La'el Collins is sounding positive again but he has not practice much and our swing tackle Erving hasn't sounded too good and he's been in and out of practice also. We're not exactly set at center currently like we are used to.

This is where I am.

It should surprise neither the agent or Peters that Peters is being asked to move to OT after an injury to the starting LT. Everyone was saying that one of the benefits of bringing Peters back to replace Brooks at OG was that in a pinch, if they had to, they could reshuffle the line and put Peters at OT if Johnson or Dillard got hurt.

Well, Dillard got hurt. So how in the world can Peters and his agent act surprised that Philly now wants to put him at LT?

FWIW, Riley Reiff is agreeing to a restructure in Minnesota, so he won't be cut and on the open market. So one less option to replace Dillard for Philly.

I can't see how they could afford Reiff's price tag anyway.

They're barely paying Peters anything as it is and they're balking at any sort of a raise.

Maybe they would do it just to spite Peters. Reports up here are that the front office is not happy with Peters' request.

Serves 'em right! Peters has been a great player for them for years and they seriously low-balled him with that last offer.

I'm shocked that a player that's been as good as he has for so long couldn't find a better offer elsewhere (of if he did, it wasn't enough to get him to relocate himself and his family).

He was still decent at LT. So the fact no one made an offer to him to play OT and he had to go back to Philly for $3MM a year to play RG is peculiar and possibly telling.

There is a lot of negative news coming out of that organization right now.

I'm sorry but what an absolute tool. This is the 2nd time he's pulled this BS

Bills back in the day gave him a multi year 15 million deal after starting just one season at right tackle (this was after they signed him undrafted because nobody wants him ) and then the next season he switches to left tackle half way through the year and immediately demands a pay increase of 3x the amount.

He's literally doing the exact same thing now 13 years later (lol). Eagles signed him this summer after nobody wanted him and now he wants a pay increase to move positions

A head scratcher to me, based on what some teams have there.
