Actually he will be because of how everything is set up this season due to covid, so no hes not a normal practice squad guy!

They have to give him time (1-2 weeks) to practice and get acclimated to the scheme. Practice squad allows them to do that without taking up a roster spot.

Is he as good as Earl Thomas? No. But he's better than what we have. That's an net positive. I'll take it.

(And I still hope we sign Earl Thomas.)

He's also not on the 53. Wonder if they plan to activate him each Sunday then demote him back to the practice squad Monday as the rule allows.
