Somehow this team went into this season with Darian Thompson as a starter, despite having so much evidence the year before proving he couldn't play. There is some horrible coaching happening here, but also a ton of bad personnel decisions (our secondary, our DL, going into the season with 2 starting LBs etc.)

we can’t get a WIldCard. Less than 3 percent chance.

a 4th seed is our only reasonable chance at the playoffs.

that means winning the NFC E.

but 5-6 wins won’t do it.

Not to mention broken Linebackers. 2 glass cases and one hopelessly lost in translating what's on the field in front of him.

he wont be fired but if a lot on here believe Edwards is better why not move him into an *** HC/DC and give him more power and let them ALL figure this out.. we have full Staff its time for closed door meeting with serious talks on how to use the players we have, add a fa or two and find defensive scheme that can work..

the players are worse then the coaches i see players in position over running plays out of positions or out matched but hows that scheme issue?

the injuries' started with Mccoy then woods, awuize brown and others like Lee and LVE that hard to come back from with no Pres season games..heath sure looks good right now lol

this would be be surprise if anyone's fired but something needs to change,,

Going into this season, Nolan was my big worry. He doesn’t exactly have a stellar record. In Atlanta he was a train wreck.

The NFL just keeps recycling the same trash coaches. We really need some new blood.

Any competent owner makes changes at this point. However what would it change? We have players starting who shouldn't be playing and others that got paid and vanished into thin air.

Whoever steps up has the same trash players to work with

The Browns third RB Johnson rushed for more yards today than Zeke has gained in any game this season. Hunt had a groin injury and Chubb missed most of the game and we couldn’t even contain the Browns third running back.

There was a tweet posted in another thread talking about Nolan getting McCarthy the OC gig when he was in SF. Seems more and more like this was a loyalty hire that backfired miserably.

I started a topic and asked a question about this a few weeks ago. “How long before Nolan was fired and George Edwards takes over?” I got roasted for it buy a few others posters. Kept seeing the “They didn’t have an off-season”, “New coaching staff” & “We're injured” excuses. My oh my how times have changed.......

Not a question to me any longer. Fire Nolan!!!

He had a decent defense when Falcons went to nfc championship.

Differences were that it was a 4-3 scheme under Mike Smith and the players on defense played with each other for a few yrs prior to his arrival.

He is bad but the defense isn't playing with any type of chemistry and leadership.

No way in hell Jerry or Stephen fires Nolan with 2 years left on his contract ( that's assuming he signed the standard 3-year coordinator's contract). The best we could hope is MM demotes him and elevate Edwards but they won't fire him.
