Don’t be surprised if Dak wants to leave

I don't wanna take 5 years to rebuild, but if we don't do something to fix this team that's probably what's gonna happen.

Look at San Francisco from 2014-2018. Dark days. Sure they made the Super Bowl right after those dark 5 years, but I'm not willing to wait that long. 5 dark years is not worth a Super Bowl appearance. (that they didn't win)

And I'd forget about Trevor Lawrence. No way McCarthy is gonna intentionally tank, or Jerry would let him do that. And we may very well be 7-9, but we're not gonna have the worst record.

Bail??? What team should he go to. The Football team has an opening. The Cowboys have built a team around him and by next season he will be the highest paid player in football on and off the field. He is not leaving the gravy train. No matter how bad the Jones family miss manages the team.
Belichick and the Patriots will quickly sign up Dak! Then we will watch Dak help them win several Super Bowls for them. I guarantee it.

Then I will probably get banned for calling out all of you who wanted Dak gone.

Dak will leave and take less money to play somewhere else. This fan base does not deserve him.

1) Chicago
2) Indianapolis
3) NY (Crazy, but he loves JG)
Heck, pick a a team that will pay top $, and has something in place to win. Our fan base is delusional, and continue to blame Dak for where we are.

Dak is not top 5, maybe even not top 10, but a good team puts a ring on his finger even with all his faults.

Do you guys remember how long it took for Ben Roethlisberger to develop? He won a Superbowl without throwing a single touchdown. 9-21, and two picks. 2nd SB was 21-30 1TD 1INT. Later he was considered elite.

Prolific QB's don't = Superbowl & Playoffs always. Anyone older than 30 (even) should know this. It's top to bottom. Owner, Coaching, Players, Chemistry, Talent.

We've barely scratched the surface since the cap. That says plenty. Jerry refuses to let anyone else GM this team. Here we are folks.
I never thought about the Giants. Good points.

Carolina will need a new QB after Bridgewater’s contract is up. Tampa as well. Brees may retire soon, and since Dak is from Louisiana, might be a hot spot for em. Vikes might take him if Kirk continues at this rate, and the Bears have a QB controversy right now, but he’d fit up there nicely.

Dak is leaving this season. Book it.
Not this season. He is getting the tag again. But I agree with all of you. He has options now. We have a top 5 quarterback.

Imagine Dak wanting to leave Ceedee, Gallup, Cooper & Zeke....

No QB has had it easier in their career.

He's losing Cooper next year as the Cowboys can't afford to keep him an pay him. It will be his 4th year so look for him to hold out for a big deal or ask for a trade. Cowboys would be smart to trade him because at worst they will get a 3rd, but i believe some needy team at WR would cough up a 2nd for him. That's more then they get if he leaves after his rookie deal and signs elsewhere in which case we probably get a 4th round comp pick maybe a 3rd if his deal is large enough. Cooper is gone after this season

If Prescott is smart he'll try other options, hopefully one that doesn't waste QB careers and never puts anything worth a damn into the defense.
Not to mention some of the "fans" around here sort of deserve what they ask for.

If I’m Dak I finish off the season and hit the open market somewhere else...can everything turn around, sure it’s possible. But let’s be honest, this team is bad, the coaches are bad, the front office is delusional...This team needs a complete overhaul...

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jerry gets greedy again and wants to play the tag game once again.

People hate on Dak, including myself but let’s be honest, the talent around him has been overrated for years because they play for the Cowboys. We don’t develop players ever, in fact they get worse!

If your Dak it’s probably better to take a chance in the open market.
Well, let's not wait until the season is over.
Hit the road Dak, and don't come back!
Hit the road Dak, and don't you come back, no more, no more, no more , no more.

You're one year too soon. Cooper probably leaves after next year. Cooper's cap hit jumps 10 million and they have to extend Gallup. That's why Dak isn't getting tagged again. He'll either agree to a new contract or hit the bricks.

I think they'd be stupid to pass on lawrence. That being said i think the giants could actually win a game or two this year. The jets not so much. The jets division is much better than ours. They're in the same boat and would probably take lawrence.
Yeah they could, like against us. Maybe just a tad less likely without Barkley, but would not surprise me.

Dak will leave this team with a garbage OL, after we wasted 4 years with an all-pro line and RB and when he walks, Dak-stans will talk about a QB carousel with a trash roster as evidence Dak was not holding the team back.,

How the hell is going to sell his house with a football field out back that says Dak Faith on it? Lol

Dak already said he’s not taking any discount and he’s been a Cowboys fan all his life and the FO has spent years catering to this mediocrity, including throwing multiple guys under the bus or him. Then he also throws his teammates under the bus last year when he couldn’t score in five quarters, claiming only him, Zeke and Witten practice hard. And then he had his brother and boys play the race card on Twitter when he didn’t get an outrageous paycheck.

This ‘sob story’ around Dak is a joke..

Zeke doesn't have lofty numbers this season...
Why would he?.....fall behind, and here comes the pass-happy offense. This team is a mess. Blame Zeke (last year's Fall Guy). We can look at the fumbles, but we also have a lot more to look at with this team. It is simply not that good......from top to bottom. JJ has put a product on the field that is embarrassing, and a coaching staff that is laughable.....again.

That would be a huge W for us if he did but he won’t the brand is too much and Dak’s all about the money.

And then we have zip at QB and still a bad defense.

If we had that this year we could probably get Trevor Lawrence which is a big W for us going forward and opens are window instead of slamming it shut on being mediocre.

Trevor Lawrence won’t be a good quarterback.
His ceiling his VERY low.

Remember I said this in 5 years
