Dak hasn’t played in the west coast offense. It’s new to him. There wasn’t enough training camp to learn it smarty pants! You gonna blame Dak for the way the team as a whole has performed? Jimmy Johnson says Dak is a good quarterback. Are you smarter tan Jimmy? Hardly.

Op is literally killing my interest in coming to this board.

Seriously. How can you post 10 times about the same thing and manage to add nothing new each time?
Admins need to seriously look at this. This is getting ridiculous I agree

jimmy said he was a one read QB like Vinny Testaverde that you had to tell where to throw it. Basically he’s a one read QB like I said. you can call that a complement. I don’t... that’s embarrassing.

and it took Dak one week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3... In the same system he was playing for THREE YEARS..

Dalton can be good if we can find any sort of a run game, throwing for 50 times a game trying to come back from 3 td down....he double the turnovers Dak had

So far yth
Did not say we were this year, I said he can now implement some of these concepts. Most Dak-stand were saying that McCarthy was going to change the offense anyways, while he was a West Coast guy.

I doubt much if anything changes. Moore and the QB have to be on the same page. Easier for dalton to learn the plays moore and the rest of the offense already know. Next year with a real TC it may be different.

gotta love all of Dak's intangibles, leadership and heart but if you look at it objectively you see a QB who is has average arm talent how has been put in an ideal situation when it comes to offensive personnel. people are still blinded by his rookie season where the run game was amazing and really set him up for success. now you seem with 3 stud WR's who can get open and contort to catch his passes that are technically on target but doesnt leave our WR's in good position to make big run after catch type plays. garbage stats are garbage stats.

-5 pts for unoriginal post. I'm sure you can go thru the C-Zone, and find a Dak sucks thread/soapbox for you to stand on. It a really classless thing to do at this point. You could have easily supported Dalton without the negative tripe. I still love ya tho, homie.

Yeah, I’m probably just being overly optimistic, but I think there is a basis for some optimism. I do know Dalton was getting significant snaps in Training Camp and Moore is Linehan’s disciple and he ran the practice squads even in Detroit, so Moore pretty much does call plays with a traditional 5-7 step drop back.

I will take your comments with some self-reflection, because of your kind gesture. i do agree I can frame the points in a better discourse to show why I feel Dalton is better for the team at this point than Dak.

But remember, a lot of the style of discourse is really just sarcastic plays on the hypocrisy of these Dak-stans Ive been doing it even before he was injured. I’ve being personally attacked and called a liar consistently, because of these criticism. I don’t see anybody coming to my defense to tell these adults acting like petulant children to pipe down. Now they are acting like it’s the USSR Cold War era, crying to get me banned, while I’m within the guideline of the forum and they are more often than not, violating the rules. The reality is Dak isn’t here on this forum, but these guys are.

But I am not going to cry about these personal attacks and play victim-hood. I’m going to continue to criticize what I can in the context of the forum rules. And if they want to continue playing, I can play just as hard, if not harder, while keeping it in the context of football, unlike them.

We are cool too and right back at you, my man.

It'll be interesting to see how he calls plays. Dalton finished using Daks plays but now he will get a vote on what plays Moore calls. I thought Zeke looked better when Dalton started too, he needs to keep that up to help keep our non defense off the field.

Ey if I ever spot it, I would most definitely defend. You've always been one of my favorite posters on here, man. Tag me in it, and I'll be the Dalton to your Dak, bro. :D

FYI I'm pumped for Andy myself. He's a good football player, and person. Hopefully we can continue to get better as the season goes on.

I sit somewhere in the middle. I am not a Dak is the GOAT nor am I a Dak is mediocre guy. Dak is good enough with the right support, however the nature of this organization has just not allowed that to be relevant.

So what now? I don't see this defense getting magically top 10 anytime soon. I think I am finally on course to agree that resigning Dak may be a bad business decision if you're trying to build before he breaks. A big part of his upside is his size, and mobility. Not sure he'll be the same mobility wise after this injury, and I certainly wouldn't bet anywhere near 40M a year that he will. Tough spot this team is in.
