Exactly, playoffs or division title is the worst thing that can happen to this team. The Cowboys are so bad it could win a couple games by default and lose in the draft.

There is no way in the world Dallas would balk at getting Trevor Lawrence, a real franchise QB, consensus number 1 pick, as the face of this franchise. It doesn’t matter what the Jones boys say now and they are not complete idiots.

I rather have the best defensive player in the draft. Give me a stud defensive player. Imagine Dak with a solid D. We're set on offense, the defense needs a damn rebuild, starting with the coaches. If you can't see that, you do not watch the games.

We’ve seen mediocre Dak for five years. Dak isn’t even league average in fourth quarter, five minutes to go. He’s a paper Tiger, garbage-time stat padder in a play-action offense.

I don't think it matters who we would bring in on Defense the stench would still thrive...heck I don't even see Aldon making as many plays now, and it's only a matter of time before he sniffs the disaster that is our organization and decides to quit and move on as well. Dumpster fire.

So you would rather pay a QB with 1 playoff win, $40m > Possibly the best Qb prospect since John Elway

Listen, IF the cowboys have the first pick. Then yes of course you have to draft Lawrence.

but the cowboys are not going to have the first pick. There are several teams that are going to win less games than them.

So if the cowboys have say pick #5. It would require trading multiple first round picks and second round picks and other premium picks to get to #1 to draft him and that’s only IF the team with the #1 pick is willing to take the deal.

The cowboys getting Lawrence is a pipe dream.

wanna talk about either QB’s? Ok. That’s fine. I haven’t watched a single game of college football this year. Just too busy in my personal life. So I am not sure how any prospects are playing.

That could be just lip service from the Jones. I like Dak but if we are in position to get Lawrence I would do it. No offense to Dak but Lawrence skill set is is just better IMO. His intangibles are good also and he would be on a rookie contract for 5 years which would help build this terrible defense.

B, don't need him. Much greater needs, MUCH greater.

C, you might take a look at that game last night, the best player on the team was missing. I am not saying Prescott is elite but compared to the rest of the players on the team, yep, he is.

Yeah, Ryan Leaf was supposed to be good too. Along with Blair Thomas. Seriously. Dry up a little bit and lay off the paint fumes for a week.
