It’s amusing to see the media lap dogs like Slater, Helman (I mean he’s an employee), hang on every word of this clown.

the man is an idiot. Him and son have ran this thing into the ground. No hope. The only guy dumber than Jerry, is me, for sticking around. I can’t quit this dopey franchise

It's sessions like this, amongst all of the other nonsense with this organization, that makes me laugh when people say that Jerry Jones is a great owner. He's a great salesman and businessman. He's an abject disaster as an owner. He alone has the power and wherewithal to make the changes necessary to correct the problems, and he refuses to do it. That, my friends, is not what a great owner would do.

I agree why do people care at all about what Jerry says. There is nothing insightful there. The guy is a bumbling old fool.

And some Cowboys fans want to believe that we are a Trevor Lawerence away from the issues with this team being solved, when it's all about the culture that Jerry Jones has allowed for the last 20+ years.

I'll take your point even further...sure, there may be some coaching issues over schematics, etc...but, my opinion is the NEW staff came in and got a BUNCH of the players out of their comfortably coddled environments that have been in place for at least the last 10 years and, like spoiled children, they're lashing out.

I repeat this question: For the fans that hope this god awful mess somehow backdoors its way into the playoffs and then gets run off the field in the first round, what does the franchise gain? All it does is embolden this kind of lunacy that but for the pandemic and injuries, somehow they are on the right track.

After seeing this, I am not sure why we, fans, care anymore, follow the team, buy merchandise .... I understand peeking to check if things changed, but why follow anymore? What's the point

We are more degenerate than them if we are going to keep following

He’s mad, he’s frustrated, he “feels bad for our fans” etc. same tune almost every season. He’ll put his head down, they’ll be better days.

starting January, he’ll sell you on next year, they’ll have a draft that he will oversell, hopefully a training camp where he’ll overhype him and Junior’s talent they acquired, he’ll tell you MM is their guy because well “he needs a proven coach or a comfortable coach”, they’ll underachieve. Then they’ll repeat it again.

Remind everyone - he will not change the way he and junior operate. No way. Rather fail miserably his way, then find success another way. The Jones’ are the franchise. When the GM and VP of player personnel have zero accountability, the rest of the group has none either.

country club culture, little to no accountability, almost zero tangible success nearing 3 decades. No hope with this albatross hanging around the teams neck.

The Owner's attitude rubs off on the players. When he refuses to admit to when has made a mistake or the wrong decision and refuses to acknowledge the problems and issues with this team, that builds a culture where the players feel like they don't have to be held accountable or responsible for playing bad football. As long as the Joneses keep covering up for their awful play, then the players feel safe and comfortable that they can show up to the games not caring and still having a place on the team.
