Well, he might be right if we hadn't lost both Pro Bowl-caliber starting offensive tackles, our starting quarterback, our starting tight end (although I think his replacement has been better), a starting linebacker, a starting corner ...

We had some of those early, but the defense was awful even with those starters. Just a slight improvement without losing those offensive players and we would be a good team.

Lawrence believes we still are, but it's hard for players to accept reality.

I’d rather not hear anything I’d rather see results on the field. I don’t want them packing it in but he is suppose leader of this defense that is record setting bad

now in terms of individual performance he may be doing his job better than others but to me this is much like celebrating a touchdown when your down 4 scores and 2 minutes left

just don’t make sense to me but I respect you’re right to feel as you do.

Well it can also be argued that believing that you suck is a self fulfilling prophecy. Give me the guy that believes they're gonna turn it around and prove they are a good team all day every day over the guy who accepts "woe is us.."

its amazing what players will say the cowboys are not a good team and any fan can see this on the field when they play really sad jerry jones and son and this group of players have just about helped me kick my dallas cowboys habit
