hey i said i want more Tds remember Dez he set records over 4 years ,TDs do win games , called points this isnt fantaasy football where you get points for yards.LOL too bad because we would win more..

you want to dig on Dez? i hope not you show me 4 straight seasons by any of our Post Dez WRs that comes even close to Dez best seasons, let me know..

so yes AC having a nice season but dont say TDs dont matter as a player judgment, because that makes you look bad..TD matter the most..JJ neds to score more as well..

I think he means that td's dont matter as long as someone is getting them. If cooper moves you down the field, then pulls coverage, and gets someone else the td catch or run, then cooper not having the td catch did not matter.

I’d rather trade Gallup and keep Cooper. Gallup drops a lot of passes... too many for my taste. He’s the third best wr on this team no argument.
That's about where I'm at.
I do like Gallup, but he's significantly below Cooper and has already been surpassed by Lamb.
I'd hate to see him walk and maybe end up with a mid-round comp pick.
Could possibly net a high 3, low 2nd rounder for him via trade, but the time to act would have been before the trade deadline, IMO.

That is my point. We have, when healthy, a very good OL and a strong red zone back in Zeke that can cash in on a regular basis, not to mention a QB (barring a full recovery) that's a weapon in goal line situations, as well.
No reason to knock Cooper for not being a big TD guy (he's actually decent in that respect) when he often sets other guys up to cash in.
Again, I'll bring up Julio Jones as one who isn't a big TD guy.

He’s one of the most skilled WRs I’ve ever seen.

He also has terrible body language and isnt consistent at all.

I still give him props for his blocking yesterday. Receivers blocking is Big Mac was adamant about. He always had it in Green Bay and even commentators would point out his wideouts block. I thought his head in the game yesterday more than we've been used to seeing.

Nice player not worth the cap space he takes up. Would Belichick pay him. Nope.

That's the thing, he has been much more consistent this year.
I can understand that argument if we were talking last year, but it's just not true this year.

Anyone who thinks that 20M per wouldnt be better spent on defense right now is lost.
Anyone who thinks his 20 million has anything to do with the defense is lost. We have plenty of room under the cap with Jerry rolling millions forward the past two years. The facts are that most of our defenders don’t deserve a lot of money, and the front office doesn’t believe in signing big dollar free agents.

need more Tds 20mil and what 3 tds?? i know hes quietly having a solid year but i want more TDs
Well, seeing as WR's are kind of at the mercy of other players when it comes to getting to score TD's it would seem to suggest that you would like for him to throw hissy fits and make demands that he get more opportunities...

A real #1 receiver is a stud every game, not only when he feels like it. He's also the emotional leader of the team....
a la Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin.

Weird analogy, but he reminds me a lot of Robinson Cano. Everything he does is smooth so it often “appears” he’s not going hard, but the guys a stud.

Plug Dak back in there and he’ll be top notch still for years to come.

The only game he's had that he wasn't productive was against NY, unless you want to count the Dinucci clown show against Philly.
Don't have to be a rah-rah type to be a team leader, either.

I like the way Amari has played. He jump started Gilbert’s day with the 32 yard grab against the Steelers. 6-81 yesterday, including that key 4th down.

showing the type of WR he is, no matter the qb.
That's something people lose sight of.
Some players are very QB-dependent.
Wasn't it just last year Juju Smith-Schuster struggled mightily without Big Ben? Cooper's producing still without Dak.
