Number one, Dak Prescott , Ezekiel Elliott,. Jalen Smith. All three should not return next season. Dak Prescott whether you support him or not we definitely need to take a quarterback with the first overall pick . Elliot basically did it to himself. Jalen Smith it’s not the same player

Well I would’ve started off get rid of Jerry. Until he stops micromanaging nothings ever going to change. But we know that’s never going to happen either

I am not sure it makes financial sense to cut Zeke. Since he is coming back Dak should too. The defense needs major help. Keep Moore as OC and get a defensive minded HC. Harbaugh might actually be a good fit except nobody seems to like him.

Well indeed, thats where we all eventually end up, understanding the origin is a conditioned part of the cowboys fandom mentality.
I grew up defending this team, worshiping this team, watching every game in 1989 and watching our only win that season vs the skins knocking them out of the playoffs was so excellent.
I will go out watching this team, the only team I could ever commit that much time and loyalty to,, even if Jerry wins... lol

the only two QBs worth taking are Lawrence and Fields and it's unlikely we will get them when we pick.

The Jets and Jaguars will have something to say about Dallas getting the first overall pick. Trevor Lawrence will be in New York or Jacksonville so all the Dak Prescott debate is moot at this point.

The Cowboys need to take a stud offensive tackle or any defensive player they can get in the first round; or trade down a few spots for value and more picks.

The Cowboys won't have the first overall pick.

Elliott did not do it to himself. The Cowboys offered him the $90M contract.

Jalen Smith is not the same player he was at ND. But he was also overrated while there. Which makes his situation with the Cowboys all the worse.

Yes I have no doubt. But I also have no doubt that they shouldn’t return we should find a way to remove them from the franchise

That about sums it all up right there, I dont even care if I have Travis Henry,, Im just going to keep rolling with that Bruce Arians narrative and never pay any RB round 2.
Draft them frequently and the cap can flourish into rebuilding this defense.

LT is a must add,, the most important position to address at this point,, and when you have the opportunity to draft one that could replace a great one like Tyron Smith, than you take that franchise LT.

Going into a draft planning to pick your starting QB when the top two are likely gone is a recipe for disaster

Generally that’s true in most drafts
But it’s not so much you can’t trade down as it is you can’t get a big price to trade down
A team at 30 might be willing to go up to 5 but aren’t willing to give enough to make it worth while
Big trades generally are about the top QB or two
