Dak isnt getting traded.
This is guys trying to make the cap go better and free up money.

The sure fire way to do this is draft Chase trade Cooper. Have a Gallup Lamb Chase wr group.
But again not gonna happen.

Getting a QB that does not cost a ton of money so that the Cowboys CAN get a defense!

We can fix the D using our draft pics. An unproven rookie QB with ZERO NFL experience makes the offense worse.

Uh, you do know that we will still have all of our draft picks, right?

I am a Dak fan (sorry Risen) and believe the team will ultimately sign him. BUT, if you are picking in the Top-5 or 10 of the draft, you better evaluate the available QBs......just in case. If you legitimately believe you can get better at the position then pull the trigger. After all, there is only so much cap space to go around.

Not as greedy as what Dak wants, think for once. Get those Dak glasses off for a while, he is not the answer to this team.

Same to you, get your full hate Dak glasses off for awhile. Dak had the #1 offense with Zeke doing nothing in the run game.

So Dak isn't good enough for us to sign long term, but the Jets are supposed to think it's a good idea to get Dak and have to sign him long term when they have no reason to believe they are close to competing? Make it make sense

Even if Lawrence refuses to play for the Jets, odds are they either a) Call his bluff, b) Trade with Jacksonville and take Fields at #2 or c) Just take Fields #1. Why? Because it makes no sense for them to commit that much to a QB even after netting the #3 or #4 pick

Dak had a pretty good outing as a rookie. He never played in the NFL. Start thinking for once.

LOL. And he had Zeke when Zeke was really good. Taking pressure off of Dak. Start thinking for once Einstein.

Yeah that’s not the route I think you take.

The route you take is getting the Jets to actually provide Darnold with something around hI’m.

If you convince them of that then maybe they take Lamb in a trade with our pick.

If they come away with Lamv and Sewell that could go a long way for Darnold.

That is how I acquire Lawrence.. You get this guy on your team and you don’t look back.

The problem with Dak is paying him and only a very stupid team or a team right on the cusp of a championship like the Colts possibly as an example.

I just think there will be similar option for cheaper.

Dak makes sense at very few places. Pittsburgh, New England maaaaybe, Colts, and Bears off the top of my head but again.. Money is a huge issue with him because he will cripple your teams chances financially.

The Jets are a mess but I don't think Lawrence would be against playing for them. It's still the NY market and spotlight. Now if it was Jacksonville at #1 then maybe.

Well, we will see how it turns out. By the way, the DOORS are one of my favorite groups.

if he slips to 5 sure if not no phreaking way you leverage this draft And next for qb that could just end up being Wentz or Goff..far too much, not sure how they think this as we won't be top 3 anyway..

defense defense defense

you want A QB GO GET GUY LIKE TRASK OR EQUIVALENT AS INSURANCE TO DAK HOLDING OUT OR BEING TRADED..

the Jets are taking him no matter what if he slips the jags get him regardless Lawerence isnt an option for us

weve already discussed this the last 3 weeks another thread on it wont make it happen..

i watched and see now what the hypothetical would be , first off the jets wont do that but if they do, maybe just our 4th and Dak..i could be ok doing that..
