That and the healing powers of a 20 something year old super athlete. Sprinkle in this dude has the determination of the ant against the rubber tree plant and you get something pretty special. I can't for the life of me figure out why so many people can't wait to run him out of town.

Maybe cause he's 6-11 in his last 17 starts? 1-3 to start the 2020 season with the only win coming from a miracle kick by his kicker?

Lol.

Oh I know the video was legit. I was just messin with the guys rooting for the injury to be career ending. I've had my share of broken bones and separated shoulders and such so I know how quickly they get you moving post injury. I'm proud to say I never finished a bottle of pain killers. But that don't mean I didn't use them when needed!
Truly.

Good post.

Fake news.. half a dozen internet experts here on the Zone already told us that he's going to have to learn how to walk all over again and may not be ready even for training camp next year.

Ya the Prescott haters must really hate that video because it blows their assertion that Prescott won't be ready next year. I've always said it's so easy to prove the Prescott haters wrong.

Or just don't care. They don't realize how exposed you are until you ride next to a car on the road. I had a car try to swerve into me when I was passing. He met my kevlar gloves on his mirror and hood.

Even when I drive now I keep an eye out and slide over to give room to pass. Most riders appreciate that and wave.

Had a coworker who said he supposedly ride. Then told me how he swerved at a reckless rider. I called bs. I might think some riders are idiots but I'd never do that. I don't think you would if you've experienced the naked exposure of riding next to huge cars trucks and suvs.

Do like me and get a HOG. Then put the loudest pipes available on it. That way people in cars always know you're coming well ahead of time!! LOL!

A little surprising that the Doctor's have him bearing full weight on it at this point. It as been about 8 weeks.

I had a similar injury 3 years ago. Both bones in my lower leg had complete breaks right above the ankle and 1 bone was broken in 2 places.

The Doctor forbid me to walk without crutches for 3 months.

I had a hard cast for 5 weeks and then the walking boot.

I could have walked without crutches at 8 weeks but I didn't because of Doctor advised against it.

Ordinarily I might accept that but those same morons were trying to run him out of town when he was winning the division two of his first three seasons. It's not about wins and losses with these people. It's deeper than that.. and you know it. The fact that you are willing to cite the 1-3 start as if the guy setting NFL records and piloting an offense that was averaging 35 ppg should be held more responsible than the defense that was on pace to give up 600 points would seem to indicate that you are firmly in that camp. Think about it.. If the defense held ATL, Seattle and Cleveland to THIRTY points.. We would have been 3-1 to start the season. But the QB clearly should be blamed for the defense giving up 500 yards and 36 a game. Makes perfect sense.

Robert Griffin III 2.0

He is nothing like RG3. They are completely different playing style. Completely different skill level, Dak is a much much better QB than RG3 ever was, no matter what you think about Dak.

I was referring to RG3's hurt leg, like Dak's. I don't think RG3 was the same player afterwards.

How did they fix it? Its a little surprising they had you off it for 3 months.

It probably helped Dak if he only broke 1 of the 2 bones, especially if he broke the Fibula which is the smaller of the 2 bones.

I had Steel Plates and about 12 relatively large screws.

I had the after surgery X-Rays on a CD-Rom disk somewhere but I looked for it recently and couldn't find it.
- It clearly showed all of the metal.

With the complete breaks, my foot was basically detached with only the tendons/ligament/skin holding it together.

Despite all of that I hobbled unassisted about 100 yards back to my truck and drove to the ER...

Yeah breaking both is is worse and the fib is a non weight barring bone anyways. I know all about breaking both. Lol

You mean Antonio Romero isn't a high benchmark.
Yes?

Sorry for the delayed response, but of course Romo isn’t a high benchmark

He was a baller in the regular season and the most exciting quarterback to watch since Staubach but at the end of the day he couldn’t get the W’s in big games and the turnovers were backbreakers.

2-4 in the playoffs is not a worthy benchmark...........unless your name is Rayne Dakota.....then it would be No problemo

I suppose that remains to be seen. It’s mostly mental to be honest. Some guys can’t overcome the mental part of the injury, some can.
