WHY

That's the point 'Mobinvans' - the anti-Dak crowd want to get rid of Prescott -------------PERIOD

Because they cant handle the shame of watching Dak and his offense tear up the NFL.

Darnold still has a lot of potential...and still young. Any team that needs a QB and isn't satisfied with their current situation would be wise to trade for him if they will not be in the Lawrence/Fields/Lance/Wilson sweepstakes in the draft.

Like if I were a team such as the Colts or Bucs, who are just renting their old QBs for a year or two, I would gladly give up a high draft pick to get Darnold

I don't see much upside in Darnold. He's going to want to get paid in a couple of years too.

Obviously the Jets are gonna snag the #1 pick and probably land Trevor

They wouldn’t need Sam Darnold at that point...

Darnold is stuck on a bad team with a bad coach..

Who knows how well Dak recovers after that nasty injury.....I would trade Dak for a 1st and trade for Darnold

LOL Sam Darnold sucks. The Cowboys are the only team he can beat and he can’t beat the Cowboys if he’s on the team.

If we didn't have Dak I'd make a play for him with a 4th round or something...that being said why the hell not go get him, and drag Butt Fumble out of the broadcast booth to form a QB tandem of the worst Jets quarterbacks in history

I wouldn’t put all my eggs in the Darnold basket by getting rid of Dak and snagging him.

I would trade a 3rd for Darnold as a reclamation project though.
Take out a 3rd and put in a 5th or a 6th and I'm game for getting him regardless of what happens with Dak.

I don't know if I would give up a bag of peanuts for Darnold and I'm not even a big fan of peanuts. I thought Darnold had bust written all over him coming out of SC.

Not Darnold, Wentz. Bring him in here around our scary talent and look out.
I know you are being funny. Would you really trade for Wentz at this point? If so what would you give up to get him?

I've watched a decent deal of the Jets as I've been rooting for them to win. They are a bad team, just terrible. If they are smart they trade out of that spot and acquire as many picks as possible because they need a lot of help. Darnold is the least of their problems. They have no WR's, no RB's, and I can't name a single lineman on that team.

Having said that, I still wouldn't give up more than a 4th for him. I'm worried the Jets may have ruined him to the point he'll never be more than mediocre even on a good team.

I could have saved teams some heartache if they would have asked me prior to drafting Darnold or Rosen...bust city!!!

people trade 1st round picks for average and all the time

Some deals that are trades between a 1st round pick and another team's best player may not always work out like the team who is trading for the player believes that it will. But, no NFL GM or Front Office beforehand or during the process of making a deal for a trade goes into it believing that they are trading a 1st round pick to get an average player. Most NFL teams are only going to give up a 1st round pick for a player in which they believe will vastly improve their team or will be the missing piece that makes their team a playoff or Superbowl contender.

So it makes no sense for the Anti-Dak crowd to claim that Dak is so awful and yet believe that some team will give up a 1st for him.
