takeaways!!!

the defense gets takeaways. Offense commits turnovers.

This is like saying points in baseball and a pet peeve of mine.

Against the injury riddled 49ers and the Bengals, who are amongst the worst teams in the NFL (who are also tanking) :rolleyes:. Talk to me when we get a turnover in a game that matters.

Defense as a whole still aren’t playing good against good offenses. Not all of it is on the coach because there are players that need to be replaced.

I don’t know, but a lot of these turnovers are fumbles, not interceptions (which is what we really want). Our players aren’t “making plays on the Ball” like you think we are. In addition to that, Nolan is fielding the worst defense in the league. He needs the boot, as did Marinelli when he got fired.

Turn overs are nice but they still gave up 33 points. So without the turn overs they probably give up 40 plus. I say still fire Nolan or at least at best bring in more higher level assistant coaches. But whatever BoZo Jones does. He needs to do it early.

The year has been a disappointment, but I really feel good about the team showing up to play the last month and even showing some improvement along the way. Getting those turnovers is a huge step forward and that was a pretty damn good defense they played today.

Tanking is talk for misguided fans and front office suits who never wore any type of uniform on a ball field. Coaches and players have no business buying into playing to lose and I am glad to see the Cowboys have continued the fight.
