LVE is made of glass, and honestly wasn't looking to good before the injury. Smith is not a starter, him and LVE are living off the 2018 season, it has been two years already, get over that season.
The talk in 2018 was of Jaylon and LVE becoming the best LB duo in the league. Another mirage.

Did taco make a probowl as an alternate since everybody does? Oh he didn’t? Okay so this was a stupid statement like I said
Okay, so you're one of those kids who has an appreciation for mediocrity, you're that Cowboys can do no wrong type of kid.

Loved Lee at his peak, but he’s been done for the past couple of years. Jaylon unfortunately is nothing compared to who he was at Notre Dame. & LVE ended up being made of glass too..

All these guys need to go.

LVE was a probowler in 2018, taco was a trashbowler. Let’s not have our emotions having us make stupid statements like this
LVE is a shell of the player he was in 2018. 2021 will be his last season with this team unless he improves. He’s a bust right now and a member of our LB’er circus.

no I’m not the overly emotional knee jerk response type which you seem to be. I can be upset about a player without making ridiculous comparisons between a probowler and a guy who got cut in his 2nd season

Looking at 2021, DAL has 1 starter (maybe) on the roster at LB; Jalyon Smith

LB needs A LOT of help.

Jaylon Smith should have to earn a starting job (unless someone wants that contract); will probably be a 2021 starter by default

LVE is a backup; his health & availability is unreliable

Joe Thomas wasn't bad, wasn't great... just was. Good depth.

Francis Bernard = depth

Luke Gifford never showed up

Sean Lee could be a decent coach. I wouldn't doubt his LB instincts, he just had a body that would not cooperate

I doubted the LVE pick at the time but was surprised after his 1st season. Unfortunately my gut instinct was correct.

So who are the top rated linebackers in this draft that aren't injury prone?

Pro Bowl alternate... everyone makes the Pro Bowl these days, means nothing. Fact is, the guy has been completely unreliable in 2 of his 3 seasons and when he's been on the field, he hasn't done anything to effect the game in any meaningful way. There is a 0% chance that he sees his fifth year option... Just another Cowboys bust, becoming more and more common.

He was an all pro too. But I guess everyone makes that too right?

In the draft, would like to see Best Player Available for defense on multiple picks. Really, can't go wrong, need an upgrade at every position.
