Had he just played a decent 4 quarters of football they would of won the game and wouldnt have to fight tooth and nail to tie the game. Garbage time stats dont always mean going against a prevent defense. They could also mean you fall behind because your either playing bad or playing tight and eventually realize you have nothing to lose and just start slinging the ball with no worries.

He executed the game plan he was told to. If Scott linehan didn’t get cute ans we stick to running the ball like we had earlier that year we win. We rushed for 200 plus in our last meeting and came out throwing.

I see so this is the new and improved version being trotted out to defend Dak. Dak won the game but the defense lost it. wow. Like Dak plays in some vacuum and nothing he does adds or takes away from the game. Turnover the ball naw it’s fine it’s the defense that should have stepped up. Hold onto the ball too long naw the defense and special teams should have gotten the ball back for Saint Dak. I’m almost curious as to what the next excuse will be?

This is what the people who defend Dak fail to understand. They trot out stats like it's the holy grail but the only stat that matters is Wins and Losses and while wins and losses are a team stat, Dak Prescott is a part of the team and while they can claim that he is just 1 guy on the roster, the position he plays is one that impacts the game a lot more than other positions.

Clock management lost that game. They couldn’t stop Zeke and Garrett dialed up a pass on the last drive. Stopped the clock for GB and left them enough time to win the game. The Cowboys should have left 0 seconds on the clock.

I am not sure if you are aware, but football is 4 quarters and points scored in each quarter count equally. so based on what you just said, having the lead in the last minute of the game doesn't count because of the first 3 quarters?

and furthermore...last year in the superbowl, SF had a 20-10 lead over KC at the end of 3rd quarter...I guess all of Mahomes play and TDs in the 4th quarter is garbage too?
