People are healing and will be back. They are good enough to win. Throw the kitchen sink at the "D" side of the ball this year. I don't care if the "lamb" pick is there at great value this time. Dallas needs DT's and finally a safety. Throw in a good LB and call it good. jerry and I are long in the tooth, please don't get cute now.

Yes go defense, however, if the blue chip type are gone when we pick and can't get a decent trade for the value.
Would people be upset if they take Kyle Pitts at TE? May turn out that is a bit high, but right now this is where he is ranked. As he could be the next Witten / Gonzales / Gronkowski.

Say Farley and Parsons are gone. Don't want to reach for defense just because they need defense badly.

I prefer a trade down to 15th with the Bears if they want to go QB, or even a bit lower with the Steelers or Colts. But a 2022 1st round needs to be involved. Saints make give up even more to jump that high. Patriots another possibility.

This is not a good draft for S's in the 1st round, and better value for DT's in the 2nd to 4th round as well.

CB & LB in the top 15 is very possible.

Fans think they know who dallas grades as worthy of the 10 spot. If its not some weak corner or Parsons theyll call it a reach regardless

I would give absolutely zero consideration to the current needs of the team when one prospect is rated above all others. Less than none. Don't care. That's not what this exercise is about.

Yep. Position of need has gotten us lots of duds in the second round for sure. On top of Taco. BPA is the way to build a football team.

Draft BPA. It is the best way. If Pitts is BPA then draft him. If Pitts is the next Tony Gonzalez or Witten, then draft him. Why should we pass on some great TE if just because we have a TE who is good enough.

Not saying Pitts is Tony Gonzalez. If is the key word. If the Cowboys have someone rated BPA, then stay true to the board. Yes, I know BPA gave us that CB from LSU.

BPA. Consider trade back. Consider need. If the trade back is not worth it consider need. If the trade back and need pick are not worth it then pull the trigger on BPA.

Agreed. If there's a Left guard with Quenton Nelson level Talent or a tight end with Tony Gonazales level upside i'm 100% taking either over a DT with only malcom brown level upside even though DT is the bigger need.

If the upside gap is huge and it's a position that you have no long term starter currently filling then 100% do it. This team has way too many holes to draft for need

You do bpa in addition to need which is what good teams do. Dont entertain that goofy youre responding to.
I try not to lol. I think he has me on ignore anyway. Exactly bpa and need hopefully line up. Last draft tho the bpa and need did not line up even close. There wasn't a single defensive player that was remotely as good as Ceedee at 17
