The only way to find out would be to risk starting over at QB. Back to the Quincy Carter days.
Also we don't really know what salary and year demands Dak is making. People pretend they do just to fight with each other on a message board. We could let him test the market and end up paying more than he is asking today.... or less.
It's a gamble.

The FO's problem has consistently been that they are bidding against themselves for a guy that many see as pretty good but NOT among the Elite QB's.

Oh I 100% agree.. I said this last year.

I wanted to do that.

I also wanted to sign Brady to a 2 year deal and go all in like Tampa did but I was told Brady was done and Dak is better then him anyways.

Prescott will get 38 this season if he gets tagged. Next year it's close to 50. These front office idiots need to get a grasp on the market.

Of course they are in the modern day shock jocks of the sports world. They love to create controversy to get fans riled up. Negative views or positive views by viewer makes no difference as long as they garner the attention and ratings. Myself I have no use for them and outside of their comments being posted here I don't watch the show.
