Lol oh please..

Dallas has possibly the most spoiled players in the NFL.

Edit: Lous Riddick... "We saw how that football team looked when he wasn't on the field."

Yes we saw it. Did you? WE stunk with him and we stunk without him.

We were a watermelon kick from an 0-4 start coming off an underachieving 8-8 season where we lost to any decent team we played including his week 16 blunder against Philly to miss the playoffs.

"Be careful treating these guys like a commodity."

Like for real? You're accusing Jerry Jones of not taking care of his guys? The same Jerry Jones who gave Zeke a fat new contract 2 years before he had to after Zeke pulled the crap he did every offseason?
:clap::flagwave::hammer:

The Dallas Cowboys - where players come for their last big pay check and to have fun before they march into retirement.

Give me Dak as my QB, just not at 35 to 40 million a year. 25-30 and I love it!

The problem with this logic is it implies that football isn’t a team sport. Like why are using wins as a measuring stick. This ain’t tennis or golf. Football is the ultimate team sport and its clueless to dumb it done to wins and loses to measure an individual players performance. It’s know it’s easy but man we got to get away from looking at wins it’s ridiculous and football is LITERALLY the last sport we should be doing that with

No I want to focus on the team if we have a non elite QB like Dak who can’t carry us.

The don’t pay Dak crowd understands that it’s a team sport far more then you guys who want to pay him whatever.

The difference is you want your cake and eat it too.. You want football utopia.. Ain’t happening.

You get Dak for 40ish million on a team trending down, holes all over the roster, and bad contracts then it’s going to lead to mediocrity or just pure disaster.

Yes thats a problem! But where in f*** was Daks production against the Saints, Jets, Eagles, Patriots. Every once in a while the defense will show and Dak is unable to generate any offense. I dont believe we can say its the defenses fault completely. Even against the Bears and Bills he opened with a score and than went to bed until the 4th quarter when they were down by 20 points.

Exactly... Great post.

It just boils down to excuses for a QB that needs everything to be perfect in order for him to win.. The built in excuse for the pay Dak crowd is already there.

Problem is we saw on multiple occasions how he would perform against good teams if we had a defense and it’s still nothing special because he isn’t a special player.

The more we ask Dak to do the more average this team gets.. When Zeke was the guy we were actually legit.

My greatest disappointment so far in this off season is that Riddick, many times again, was passed over for a GM job and will bring his chatterbox back to ESPN for another unlistenable season.

So, when the schedule comes out, I have to decide on Straight Ahead Hard Rock, Metal or Electronica for each game. A Miami home game gets Ibiza Club Music. Seattle gets a 90's Grungefest and a Cleveland game gets peel your face off and sell your children Metalhead. Dallas gets Disco because a silver disco ball is all that's missing from that "stadium" and Deney Terrio in the Rowdy suit as guest mascot.

There are some disgusting and deceitful narratives going on in the media about certain players and contracts. Don't give Dak $40 million or he's a "commodity"...or he's "not respected". I end negotiation instantly on the grounds of this kind of egregious tactic alone. Go pound sand.

A guy on the NFL network said "we needed to break the wheel." Their nonsense view: It's such an injustice if Dak isn't paid massively more Rogers and Brady.

I was all in...Now? I'm 100% off the Dak bus.

The FO does not care about that and it has never even been a thought in their collective minds. Bank on that! Not getting Dak signed will be a disaster for the Cowboys in ways the FO never even considered.

Do you know what will affect the team’s ability to sign free agents? Lack of salary cap room. Nothing else. And especially if they have to franchise Dak at $37.7M, that’s nearly $20M over the cap that needs to be cleared, plus what they need to sign their draft picks.

They’ll be bargain shopping at best in F.A. and the reason is indeed Dak Prescott, just not for the reasons that Riddick mentions.

Why were they bargain shopping in free agency when Dak was making $2 million a year?

Exactly.

There was a huge drop-off in the offense once Dak went down.

After Dak was injured we were bad in all 3 phases of the game, instead of just 2.

We got blown out by Washington twice without Dak. It was embarrassing.
I wouldnt think Im exaggerating or being short sighted in saying that any team in the league that lost their starting QB, that there would be a huge drop off in offensive production.

Dallas as well as any team in the league can sign anyone they want.
Its just rolling the cap forward with restructures, and creating available cap room, but that also creates dead money.
So pick your poison.

This post is a good example of when someone has already made up their mind. If you didn’t see the difference in this team without Dak vs with him then you’re stuck in your own reality....and please don’t bring up team record in comparing a 4 game sample size to 10 game sample size, be smarter than that
Just asking,,,
Can you name me any team in the league that when their starting QB goes down that their offensive production isnt affected?

A point you don't see around here often. How does the handling of Dak affect the players on the team and the possibility of signing quality free agents. Not about money but about the reputation of how Dallas treats its players.

This is why I was hoping he would get the GM job in Jagland.
He is a member of the Church of Dak ou la la....

You don’t know much about comradere do you. And definitely you know nothing about leadership.
After Zeke's 2 fumble game (Cards) we are very well aware that Dak controls the locker-room.
The Question is does Jerry have the guts to exterminate Dak-Mafia?
We await his decision....
