I think a former Ram player named Rosey Grier might take offence at that and I wouldn't be the one to tell him dat - no way. We smarter dan dat down here in New Iberia.
"As a Rams player he was one of what was called “The Fearsome Foursome”, considered to be one of the best defensive lines in pro football history. "

I'm pissed off at the stance that the NFLPA is taking to exacerbate the misfortunes that this league has already suffered. I hope you are, too. They seem impervious to the opportunity to overcome the devastating situation that casts such a dark shadow on their sport. It's beyond pathetic. The Cowboys have enjoyed an offseason, thus far, that holds promise to improve their status in the months ahead. Too bad the league's leadership doesn't seek to overcome their lackadaisical attitudes by rendering NFL player training even more disgustingly lame. Fostering laziness is anything but a good idea. o_O

so let me get this straight,

fans have an issue with payers opting out of few non voluntary OTAS out of safety to further protect themselves and their familys from covid....

yet many payers last year opted out of the entire season, college and pros..

other leagues are not even allowing these things and played in Bubbles, these players played an entire season without a bubble..

so lets jump all over them for not wanting to participate in INVOLUNTARY activates

its odd we hear all the Fb and SM posts about lost freedoms with mandates on masks and what not, dont want vax if it forced on them but player get railed on for exercising that very freedom?

I think many are reacting more toward the NFLPA wanting to not have any off season workouts. Voluntary is voluntary, however they do not even want the voluntary to even be an option. They want to cancel it all.
They also want to have no mandatory mini camps. They want to just sit around and talk about it over video chat by the camp fire.

Can't learn it all from a book without practical experience.

they wont be able to cancel the mandatory stuff without penalty's, CBA deals already in place.. thats why owners cant change involuntary to voluntary mid CBA contract etc

huge fines will be assessed for mandated workouts and practices skipped, trust me the owners will be miffed at the players skipping involuntary stuff an an exercise maximum penalties for the mandatory stuff being skipped

the nflpa and the players can not sideswipe and amend the CBA without owners approval. so i fully expect the mandatory stuff will have high participation.

i understand football has got soft and i blame Goodall more then anything allowing the nflpa and nfl to come to these agreements with rules and less workouts and practices to be the new era of league really all of sports..its sad but its the new modern generation anyway..

if it doesnt come in pill or ordered with two clicks and arrive in under 2 days at your door they dont want it.

this is what the new era of humanity has created. Its a NOW society they want the most from doing the least and want it NOW!

Houses are being sold in less than 2 days in almost every city in the state. The economy here is thriving. Texas has a coastline, multiple sources of energy, forests, mountains, plains, desert, a fantastic educational system, and a low cost of living. Kids have been in school all year in most cities, and people have been back to work for several months while Covid cases are down 12 percent.

Meanwhile, California is wrapped in bubble wrap and still not going to school or work, while their Covid cases are skyrocketing.

Some states can. Others watch.

Texas has a much higher infection rate than CA while also being well behind CA in testing. Higher infection rate per 1m people while testing at a rate of about a half million fewer per each mill of population.

That's not a picture of doing well. That's a picture of not testing

NFLPA demands teams allow players to use telepathy to train because remote video training causes computer vision syndrome which puts their eyesight at risk and may increase injury on the field due to blurry or damaged vision.

NFLPA also demands teams allow players to take frequent mental wellness breaks because learning plays is hard and stressful.

NFLPA also demands the league changes the rules to allow emotional support animals on the field during games for players who fumble or get beat often to help them cope with their disappointments.

You think you’re making jokes. Tomorrow this is in an actual press release. I wouldn’t be surprised.
