Boys protected themselves by resigning Woods, in case they didn't get their guys in the draft. They did get their guys in the draft, one possibly for both DT positions. Adios Woods, it's been fun.

They did it to hide their intentions of drafting DT’s in the draft. Whatever price they paid was worth it if they were able to fool other teams into thinking we were set at DT and were no threat to draft any. Whatever minuscule amount it cost them was probably worth it.

odds are they bring him back after camp plays out nd no one looks like a better prospect. They needed to cut down to 90 he lost the number game given his position and cap hit..he will get less when they bring him back..SJ classics move..:))
