That's interesting. So all drafts look equal now since we don't know.
Does this extend to games too? Should I not know if the Chiefs could beat the Lions or the Ravens could beat the Jaguars? No opinions until the facts are in?
Do you even follow the draft then? It must be thoroughly boring for you if you do when the end result of all that time and effort is they all look the same and nobody knows yet.
Not sure where you get that all drafts look equal. I certainly have my opinions heading into the draft. I really wanted Alim McNeill because I felt he was the best NT available who might can offer even more than just being a run stuffer. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. Could Bohana end up turning out to be a better player? Absolutely.
While I hold out hope that Dallas sees the same thing I do in a player and takes him, 90 percent of the time, they don't draft even one player who I felt would have been a great draft choice. Does that mean Dallas made bad choices? Absolutely not.
I think it's ridiculous to get your panties in a wad over the choices Dallas makes when you don't know how those picks are going to turn out. If you find that to be fun, more power to you. I like studying the draft and forming opinions, but I'm not bound by them to the point where I have to ridicule a pick just because it wasn't the one I would have made or because some draft expert out there said the player should have been taken in the fourth round instead of the third.
The draft is not boring at all to me. In fact, I'd say I enjoy it more than those who jump off a cliff every time they think Dallas made a terrible choice. The overreactionary stuff just makes me shake my head, especially when we've seen time and time again choices that were ridiculed turn out to be our better players and choices that were lauded failing to do anything of significance in their careers.
