Can we all agree that this years team is not like last years team?

I have yet to see this improved defense so until I do, it is not better than last year's team. It is only better right now because they have the QB1 playing.

Poor pass rush and a mediocre secondary and I do not know if the run D improved because they didn't bother to test it with their QB throwing 4 TD passes.

And I sincerely hope that "tag team" LB experiment is over.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the LB's rotating in and out. I'm not sure if they were doing it to confuse the Bucs, or to confuse us!! LOL

If I had my druthers, one of the young guys would step up and replace AB, they’d take about 10 snaps from Jaylon, pick up a decent DT, and bring back a healthy Gallimore.

Can we all agree that this years team is not like last years team? This is an improved defense and an improved Oline. Now it could be simply rising to the occasion and playing Brady and the SB champs but they appear at least from game one, to have more fight and to be a tougher against the run. Not great by any means but improved. To go toe-to-toe with that team is a good sign of the what could be a good year ahead and perhaps the NFCE and just maybe a win in the playoff. Anything can happen once we get there.
To accomplish that we need to improve the run game and the kicking game. The kicking game alone we would have won game one.
Pretty much how we started last year, great stats and a loss...I'm gonna wait and see how this year progresses before I come to any conclusions.

That rating should be higher if not for Lamb dropping that pass
The score probably to
He dropped 2 and both were for first downs and one in red zone
Gods chance you get points if both are caught
Players drop passes and lamb while he led the team in drops last year didn’t have a outrageous percentage of drops
But drops are mostly mental and can and need to be improved
Coopers drops since coming here are way down
Maybe lamb should ask Cooper what he did to improve in that area lol

Everyone would love a young player to step up and replace any vet. But I think it’s gonna be in the second half of the season before there is any real shot of that happening if it does at all
The young guys are raw talents and just need time

running the football more will help.
I think we ran a lot of screens and quick swing passes to substitute for the running game, accepting that we were going to be unsuccessful at trying to run up the middle. I thought this was a good creative solution.

I'm confused by all the talk about the defense being improved. They got absolutely lit up. Terrible secondary. No one except DLaw on the line. At best, you can make an excuse they played Tampa week one and hopefully the defense wont be a disaster.

You will never get all to agree on thus, we have some fans that will hate if we win the SB.....just their nature. We have positive fans, negative fans, objective fans and stupid fans......I an a positive fan and a Homer.... Salud!

Well, sure, that’s why I said “if I had my druthers”…

Hopefully we do in the second half of the season
We got some talented but raw prospects
If the light comes on with one of them we may have your druthers

First weeks don't typically mean much but mostly encouraging. Wash looked OK but lost one of their toss up games at home and didn't really look all that impressive. Not a lot of pressure and they couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. QB still a mess, Fitz looked completely washed. Ron made a layup punt on 4th and 4 that hurt. Giants looked like a mess. Saquon didn't look comfortable at all. Jones made some good throws but still makes a ton of mistakes. Garrett offense looks exactly the same. Their defense looked rough at times too. Broncos moved up and down the field at will. Neither of the vaunted defenses in the division could stay off the field. Eagles looked great and Hurts was very poised and impressive. Atl is a bad team. This week will be pretty important for the division. Dallas doesn't need to start 0-2. Niners will be a challenge for Philly but that's a long road trip and the Lions gave them a game. Somebody will lose Thursday.
