Ugh, okay.

99% when an average Jane or Joe gets fired, they don’t receive a severance package of guaranteed money.

Let’s not act like Jaylon getting cut is the equivalent to some single parent working at the Piggly Wiggly for $8/hour + tips.

No it's not the same on the other hand players form tight bonds with each other so I do understand. Fans make all of this personal as if Jaylon peed in their Wheaties. For the players they form close tie that remain over the years even when a player is cut or leaves via FA.

Fans can be brutal but when you're making millions following a lifelong dream, fan/media criticism should not be something getting under your skin, just shouldn't. It's why we hear most players take fans with a grain of salt behind closed doors.

I think fans generally just want their football team to be better. I don't harbor any ill will towards Jaylon, he just wasn't good enough to be making what he was making and taking reps from younger players who are probably better. It is what it is. There were things that annoyed me about him and he seemed to be a legend in his own mind sometimes but that doesn't mean I wish him ill will. Good luck to him.
