"...not have a bad game" ??? By what metric? Does his multiple goal line fumbles and INT's represent a bad game?

MVP talk after 6 games of a 17 game season????

People just don't stop.

Yup having multiple picks dropped against the Giants and having 1 pick against the Giants. I guess most folks here didn't watch how Stafford slice up that Giants' defense with no interception. Oh and Stafford have shown to be able to win games without a running game and a bad O-line. These are two factors that Dak has never shown unless it against the worst team in the league (Lions, Eagles, Giants, Falcons) as @RonnieT24 pointed out. That what separate Dak from the true elite, and that is the ability to carry their team when things are missing or not operating smoothly.

Different time period, we have one of the most talented roster but we don't have a top 3 QB in the league. We are a SB contender (as it stand right now) but we aren't a SB favorite. Dak is doing great right now because everything is running smoothly and he has Zeke and Pollard. Dak has never been able to win without a running game unless it against the worst team in the league. Same thing with a below average O-line or even average O-line for that matter. Our O-line and run game is like 2016 which is why Dak is successful right now.

Cowboys didn’t do so great when 22 held out.

Our O-line doesn’t compare to that one. Zeke isn’t the TD machine 22 was. Our depth is better on offense.

The output is very similar and our schedule hasn’t been week.

Dak Prescott

Yards - 1813 (5th)..... Stafford, Brady, Carr, Mahomes

Completion % - 73.1% (2nd)..... Murray

QB Rating - 115 (4th)....... Wilson (tho he's played one less game), Stafford, Murray

TDs - 16 (tied 3rd)..... Mahomes, Stafford, Brady

Also, Dak has not had a bad game this year. He's one of 3 QBs this year to not have a bad game, the only other 2 are Brady and Murray. His worst game (Chargers) was still a win and he was still decent.

Herbert had that woeful Ravens game. Stafford really bit against the Cardinals. Mahomes has had a couple of bad eggs. Allen had the Steelers. Rodgers had the Saints. Jackson if Tucker's field goal didn't bounce in hardly think that Lions game was a good game. And against the Chargers he was a real snoozefest, Herbert was just worse and Ravens had 187 yards rushing to compensate for QB failures.

So yes....fire up the Dak for MVP campaign.

Also, I've always said that ESPNs weird QBR stat can give you some odd outcomes.

This year Dak is one of them

The ESPN QBR has him at 15th in QBR

silly

QBR tries to measure how much impact the QB has on the game plus or minus.. We just came off three straight games where the running game dominated. Hence Dak did not have to do AS much as some others .. I have no problem with where it has him ranked. Then the two turnovers yesterday will count heavily against him. Which I don't care about.. we won.. and without him we don't win.. Period.

ESPN’s QBR rating of Dak is similar to how Diggs is being penalized for allowing separation between himself and his main assignment without taking into account his closing speed and the fact he’s playing that way on purpose.

I don't know if I agree with that.. Dak aint turning the ball over on purpose.. but turning around and handing off doesn't help his QBR.. And nobody should mind one bit. Diggs is baiting QBs.. which is totally different. If Kazee had not flashed in front of him I have no doubt that he would not have pulled up on that throw to Bourne and he would have either picked it off or at least made the tackle.

Are you talking about the 44-20 win by the Cowboys? I swear some may be alcoholics that can't remember a great win.

This is so stupid, according to NFL schedule we have the 2nd softest schedule in the entire league. Our schedule is better and competition is worst than 30 other teams.
That schedule was written before the season began, obviously. nobody knows who is going to be a good team and who will have a losing record.

The "strength of schedule" argument is based on all team's performance for the prior year and as we can all attest to, a lot can change....and did.

Let's look at the "strength of schedule " from the perspective of all the team's records so far this year:.

In reality,, the six teams the Cowboys have faced have a combined record of 15-15. That is far from the weakest schedule

is there a category for almost intercepted....perhaps in your idiotic book.

I watched the giants game...I watched stafford. Giants dropped 2 interceptions could have been even three.....so you making up stuff because you didn't even watch the game....makes you look like a moron that you are...but hey thank you for participating.

btw, time to get your head out of staffords arse. he wants to take a dump and you plugging him
