Parsons continues to improve with each succeeding game. He seems destined to be headed for Pro Bowl consideration in the near future. You've got to admire the way he's able to tackle RBs from behind as easily as he does. His size/weight/speed ratio is a very rare phenomenon, indeed. If he continues to improve at his present rate, there won't be a LB in the league to compare favorably to him. His future is extremely bright and he's already being a major contributor of an improving defensive front seven for the Cowboys.
Too bad He will not play in the Pro Bowl this year . . . Because the Boys will be in the Super Bowl

There was a play where Randy Gregory forced cousins to check to Cooks and Parsons comes flying in for a 3 yard loss and right then I thought to myself....We have 2 super stars on our front 7. I'm talking game changing stars. We haven't had 2 game changers like them at the same time on the field. In ALONG time.

Then Diggs is a playmaker in his own right behind them. It's just a really fun defense to watch.

Kearse is not far beyond. He has some pretty good stats also. Just doesn't stand out as much compared to Randy and Micah.

I figured we need a Micah Parsons thread.

What a great game he had.

those tackles for a loss are huge. Tackles for a loss make it so much more difficult for the opposing offense to get first downs.

He put the Vikings behind the chains multiple times tonight and got the defense off the field.

He is a special special player and only going to get better.

@CATCH17 hes gotta stop being normal though right?

That'd be nice, alright, but it's not official until such time as it actually happens. There will be some very capable competition to overcome 'til then.

The last two drafts--the Cowboys drafted two of the top three defensive players in the entire 2020 and 2021 drafts: Parsons, and Diggs (given the position he plays, Chase Young probably at this time more valuable than Diggs--but this year, Diggs has outplayed Young.)

He had a monster game like that and it’s still not nearly as impactful as when he rushes the QB and that’s why Gregory was the most impactful player on the field last night.

We are a better defense when he rushes the QB.

Im glad he made some tackles though.

Parsons answered some questions I had about him. It makes you feel better when you can put some faith in these guys
Just out of curiosity. What questions did you have about him? Guy has been an absolute freak show since he’s been here. Maybe he can improve his coverage a little I guess?

That week off and a chance to go over things paid off for this defense. They went out and played as many said the most balanced offense they had faced and they shut them down!!!. Dallas was getting good pressure on Cousins and Parson was tracking down ball carriers throughout the game including 2 or 3 plays resulting in negative yards. These guys need to keep it up, they can become more than an avg defense.

The play where he had to run around another Cowboy that was being blocked(can't remember who) and still took down a very fast/elusive RB for a loss, was just amazing. Even Collinsworth mentioned what an impressive play it was.

right, makes sense. The dude who thinks Zeke needs to start showing up. The same Zeke who won the game for us, and is 5th in rushing this year. Gotcha..

Yeah I don't know what's gotten into him. Ever since he moved to Hawaii he's been acting weird.

As a Penn State alum and fan, I was obviously upset Micah Parsons decided to opt out during the 2020 Covid season. However, the way his trajectory was going, continuing to get better and better each week in 2019, had Micah played at Penn State in 2020, he probably solidifies himself as a top 10 pick. Which means he wouldn't have been a Dallas Cowboy. Good choice Micah, good choice!
