If we are honest for a minute, how many of us really had this as a win at the beginning of the season, anyway? Not like we played the Lions or something. This is one of the best teams in the league, and we hung in there until the end.

We had a real chance to move in position as the one seed, so now it's time to focus on parts of our team and getting healthy. This loss isn't the end of the world, but we need to start stringing together some wins. We need to discover how to move the ball effectively without our guns, this is what New England does all the time.
This is what elite teams do all the time. We started the game down a LT and WR and couldn’t move the ball. I could understand some inefficiencies but a no show? We just showed the nation that we don’t belong in the “top team” discussion. We are above average and probably missing the playoffs.

If only we had a real franchise QB.

Oh you bet there are other players who failed but a franchise QB elevates the team. He makes those around him better.

We don't have that guy.

So do 29 other teams. Play who you have and make no excuses about it.

Cooper is important to the offense but I think the bigger issue with him missing the game is that we found out on Friday. He's a big part of the game plan.

There was no "hang." The Cowboys were never in this game. Cheers to the defense for the great effort. The offense was embarrassingly flaccid.

How much of that gets called from New York, I don't know. Guys randomly dropping catchable balls, and all that. The NFL really does resemble the WWF.

I've seen everything now. Especially, when the refs used the house video to offset penalties that they were not originally going to enforce.

Let's not go that far, our receivers will be back, and hopefully Smith will be back until we can draft his replacement.

Amen to this. Goodness people need to back off the ledge. I mean we lost to a good team in a very tough environment. It's one loss in a long season. Just regroup and get ready for Thanksgiving. Every time we lose a game people act like the season is over and every play on the team all of sudden sucks. Fans are so silly.

So....what folks?

We pack it in at 7-3 because we couldn't beat a team on the road that played in the last two SB?

Ok....

Now, I'm more worried about the Coaching staff turning this running team into a passing team. We have gotten away from the basics. No tosses sweep slants. Pollard being underused etc... Just a terrible game plan and no adjustments. Noah Brown has no business being in the game unless we are up by 150 points.

McCarthy won games with #88 at running back. I’m not sure Dak is the kind of QB that can make that happen. At this point, rest up and hope to be healthy and hot come playoffs.

I don't care if they win out the rest of the season, and win each game by 20, this team is NOT elite, until they show something in the playoff.
Until Dak can do something in the playoff, don't bother telling me he is elite.

Nope....we don't. He used to have that "X" factor with his legs. Now that is gone...he refuses to run after his leg injury....making him one dimensional. Add in his inaccuracies...and his brittle nerves...he just can't elevate a team to beat a good team. Signing him to that contract was by far Jerry's worst move as a GM.
