You just said it. No more needs to be said. That's what got him his contract... Not his so called "elite" status that doesn't even exist... He's a great quarterback. I'm not saying (nor have I ever said) he's not. Even he has said himself, he's a student of the game constantly learning and trying to get better everyday and I highly respect that. But unfortunately some fans like to give him a status that he doesn't deserve.

Dak is elite and he showed it last night without his top two weapons and no run game.

Shut up about Cooper and Lamb crap. Other QB don't have more than 1 good receiver meanwhile the Cowboys and Bucs have the best WR cores, so even if two are injure, it would be on par with other QBs. Rodgers only has Adams.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao: Is Gallup Davante Adams? Dumb comparison

And did the GB D give up 36 points? DOH!!!!

Dak is elite and he showed it last night without his two best weapons. Stud!!

Dak is a good serviceable QB and has had good games . But unfortunately he is not elite , nor special . The cowboys can win a super bowl with him , but not with the following other issues :

1- grossly overpaid playwrs like zeke , and DLaw etc .
2- a coach like MM who obviously is not a top tier coach , and his super bowl is attributed to one of rhe greatest QB ever and a top tier GM getting him talent at Green Bay .
3- ailing OL / Running game .

Much to the chagrin of trolls like you, Dak is now ELITE!! And he showed that last night playing near flawless in the 2nd half even without his top two targets in Cooper and Lamb.

More deflection, more blame. There's never enough talent around Wentz, the highest paid player on the team. Poor guy. Makes more money than anyone on the roster but the problem is everyone else. Got it.

By the way, neither Lamb nor Cooper have been appreciably better than Pittman this season. He's absolutely a starter on this team.

How tremendous was the supporting cast yesterday? I dare say Wentz has not started a game under center for the Colts this season with less "weapons" around him than Dak had yesterday.

Here's the difference: Dak can throw for 375/2/0 turnovers and lose, and simpletons like yourself will come here and say he's not doing enough. Carson can stand off to the side pooping his pants for 3 hours while Taylor runs for 185 and 4, and simpletons like yourself will praise him for doing such a masterful job pushing out the turd.
He doesn't get paid to pad stats, he gets paid to win games, and at $40M be the speak to light up this team. Period. You see that spark these last few games?

You guys keep reminding us of that...but how much money was sitting at home on the couch this week? How much money SHOULD'VE been sitting on the couch this week?

Lawrence - 20 million
Amari - 20 million
La'El Collins - 15 million
Zeke - 15 million
Blake Jarwin - 5.5 million
Never mind the money wasted on Jaylon Smith....

And on another note.....La' El gets 15 million, Zack Martin gets 14 million...Tyron Smith gets 12 million.....that sure is a lot of money for a piss poor offensive line.
La'el would be thankful for that raise you just gave him...

This is nonsense. Spark to light the team? What does that even mean? Tangibly. Explain to me what that means. Is he supposed to kick the extra point for Zuerlein? Defend DeSean Jackson? What does "be the spark to light up this team" mean to you?

Easy solution actually. Lawrence is one of the best run defenders in the league and Randy is no slouch either. Urban has been out and he is one of the better run defenders in the league. Gally was a monster by the end of last season and if he's 75% of that we will be in good shape. All that said, with Lawrence and Randy set to come back we have a pair of really good bookends in place. Move Micah back to MLB and rush him in passing downs. Problem solved, no?

The solution is to get and stay healthy.

The thing is with Lawrence and Gregory, there coming off serious injuries, especially with Lawrence they need time to get back into game shape. There are not going to jump back in and made a great impact. Anything thing you get from these will be a bonus for the team.

No just no, both Goff and Wince are more talented than Dak. There a reason Dak is a 4th round draft pick and the others are #1 and #2 respectively. Goff just need to fix his "fear" and Wince need to stop playing "hero ball". Meanwhile Dak has nothing to fix because he already at his ceiling, and that a below average to average starting QB. Hell Goff did better than Dak yesterday and his stupid coach cost him the win. Dak can't even beat the Broncos despite having a stack team, just like he couldn't defeat Wince and the Eagles with no receivers two or three years ago.

So accept to your logic, RG3, Ryan Leaf, Gino Torreta, Heather Shuler, Akili Smith, Rick Mirer and Heath Shuler were all more talented than Dak.... yeah ok.

For the record, Goff and Wentz couldn't hold Daks jock strap. If they were as "talented" as you say, they wouldn't be with new teams.

I'm not a fan of team dysfunction, but in the long or even medium term it would probably be a good thing if Micah got so frustrated that he gave Dak another beat down in the locker room. Maybe that would motivate Jerry to move on from Dak if he felt he had to choose between the two.
@PAPPYDOG is projecting... this exactly how Dakota Prescott hijacked Romo's "2016 Team"....:lmao2:

You're not wrong. It'll take a couple of weeks for them to get back into it. Still, those guys at 75% are still upgrades over the current crew minus Micah. Also, more bodies means more rest which leads to fresher legs in the 4th.

The dak contract issue or the dak sucks thing is a narrative by a minority of the fan base that is just hyperbolic, reactionary, naive and flat out wrong. Even if you think dak isn’t a top 5 qb he is easily top 10 in the league. Someone who even with flaws is likely the mvp front runner if he beats kc even with the raiders loss.

the only argument to be made is the cowboys should have signed him a year earlier to save themselves some $ but he’s absolutely a franchise quarterback and one who about 23 other teams would love to have. This fan base compares every quarterback to staubach or Troy aikman or guys like Rodgers and brady (he’s not either and that’s ok).

dak needs help and has his flaws and is far from perfect but he’s still damn good and more than capable. Lots of issues with the organization but dak isn’t close to being 1 of them.

Dak didn’t do much of anything but miss routine throws, go 3 and out, and just contribute to an inept slow starting offense.

But hey them stats.

Im surprised people still get impressed by stats when Cooper Rush can throw for 300 yards and be inept for 3 3/4 quarters and move the ball at the very end in Dak like fashion.
Dak routinely gets stats at the end of every game. He fails us for 3 quarters and gets a pass!!

Ive learned that watching games don’t mean a lot to fans. They prefer box scores.

That makes it easier to digest missed opportunities and slow starts if the end numbers look good.
And thats what jerry wants.

When i first joined this site i bought into the jerry propaganda and believed him. Once you realize it you see things from new perspectives

"Spark light " means Dak has to make sure Anthony Brown plays proper technique, Tyron Smith doesn’t hold and Mike McCarthy isn't along for a ride

Dak Haters are weird
