Deacon never gets overlooked by people who know football history.. deacon was a monster who hated qbs...lol...and let's not forget ray nitschke
Ahh Ray Nitschke - a blast from the past, so many great players when you go way back.

I'm sure you remember Jack Tatum - the Assassin - he used to have like a gallon of Stick-um on each leg...talk about a violent player.

It was clear Parsons would be awesome. He just has so much swagger and you could see it on draft night. Sometimes you just know it when a player will justify their hype. He's so legit

Ah, Tatum was more about being mean than a great player and it was Lester Hayes with the stick um.

If you saw LT play then ya know nobody not even Deacon Jones or Dick Butkus made the impact this guy did from day one. Cat was a total monster, it was like he was unleashed on the NFL from the pits of hell.

Parsons is doing a great LT impersonation but without the......I will tear your (bad word) head off,,,,,that LT brought. Kind of wish Micah wasn't a nice guy.

LT was All Pro from day one, he had a 20 sack season, many times 15ish, he was simply on a whole other level, something we hadn't seen before.

In order to really get the comparision....

Knew he was good with the heels but what he did at the next level was just CRAZY!

LT
Barry Sanders
Deion Sanders
Larry Allen

These guys was just different cats among different cats. Micah is on his way to being acknowledged as one of these cats....

I watched LT play many times at both NC and the Giants, he did nothing that has me thinking he is stronger than Parsons, yep, more violent, more nasty, more intense, did I mention nasty? but there is no reasons at all to think LT was physically stronger than Parsons, and I bet Parsons would own LT in the weight room.

That’s cool. We can agree to disagree

I don't get the impression that Micah is being classy or nice after he sacks a quarterback. Not saying that he isn't classy.

It's more like, imagine you're an adult and you're 30s or 40s playing backyard football with your kids and nephews, 10-year-olds... None of those guys can block you and when you get to the 10-year-old quarterback you're obviously not going to knock the crap out of him so you let him down nice and soft because you know you're not trying to hurt the poor kid. That's what it seems like with Parsons those offensive linemen are less effective at blocking him than those 10 year olds are at blocking me. And quarterbacks are so far beneath him it's just good old human decency not to overdo it when you sack him.

It feels like if he was facing somebody on his level you'd probably see some LT nastiness in him.

Watched both play.

LT was a crazed coked up force of nature.

Micah will be better.

I think the scary thing about Parsons is that we just don’t know what his ceiling is. I think he can get stronger in the upper body. His technique can improve as well as his knowledge to set players up. LT was a demon. Most feared defensive player I’ve seen.
Parsons is a kid that could average 100 tackles a year AND give you 12-15 sacks. That’s insane. He’s a rare dude for sure.
