Stafford is what he is and that ain't great
Brady can be outplayed and Rogers can be out played
I see no one caught you as a baby

He throws a nice ball but a loser when it matters.. 2 cent head..

Ill take Dak's leadership. When has Stafford ever had a game when it mattered? He has pretty much had Romo syndrome his entire career up until now.

The bottom line is if the seeds hold serve in the wild card round the Cowboys will have the worst QB in the divisional round.

Rodgers Brady Stafford Prescott

One of these things is doing it's own thing.
If we win the Super Bowl will you retire from the board.

this is the case no matter what the seeds are. How do you suppose this won’t be the case?

The way the seeding is now Green Bay or Tampa Bay would play each other in the divisional round and the Cowboys would only have to play one of them in the championship. If Dallas becomes the 3 seed they likely have to play Tampa Bay in the divisional and Green Bay in the championship.

I’m holding out hope that the Pack slip up against the Vikings but I doubt it.

Things are shaping up for another weird circumstance, however. Dallas could end up playing the Eagles in Week 18 in a game they need to win to hold onto the 2 seed, then facing them again in the Wildcard round. The last time that happened, Romo owned them in both games.

After Philly, they’re probably going to draw the Rams and I’m ok with that matchup. It’s a revenge game for the 2018 playoffs.

I kind of get the sense that this team needs to play every week, two weeks might be a distraction.

How so?

Dak has a higher passing rating (100.5) than Tom Brady (100.2).

Hard to imagine that any Qb that gives sponsor donated sneakers to his teammates for Christmas can be considered the worst

Hey man. It’s Covid and the global economy is down. Even Dak needed a little help this year financially and since stock was full from record low purchasing, it was a good idea to pull some stock from inventory and at least use the donations for year end “write offs” for the poor sponsor.

Also, Dak gets to save on Xmas gifts and doesn’t have to risk coming into contact while shopping. Got to be a hell of an appreciative QB for doing that.

Lol! God bless you Dak, I would have been happy with the thought too.

Me too. Especially since we’re getting guys back from injury and to build the cohesion in all 3 facets.

But the refs while playing in Green Bay, are just pitiful.

I agree with the OP, I really hope the seeding holds as it is right now but if it doesn't, I think this team is really good on the road and can beat anyone. So I don't think it's the end of the world if we end up with the 3 or 4 seed.

And best defense when the Broncos won the SB the offense was playing ugly the entire yr.
The Dallas defense is not quite that good. That 2015 Broncos unit was pretty special. It doesn't really need to be, as long as the offense is operating at a pre Denver level. Defense alone is not going to get it done against Rodgers and Brady. Both will eventually find a way to put up points. We still don't know how this defense will fare against a run heavy approach by an opponent. Rodgers especially is not likely to gift INTs. He averages 32.5 TDs to 5.5 INTs annually over his career. Brady will throw up a few jump balls if he's pressing. What makes them most dangerous is their patience and willingness to nurse small yardage gains into points.

A lot of wheels still have to turn on postseason strength. I like the Cowboys chances best if they can keep Gregory, D-Law, Parsons and Diggs healthy. Six more weeks. A lot can happen in that time on the injury/illness front.

They are averaging more points at home. Prescott hasn't exactly been all-world out in the elements.

It’s possible Nike spotted him 50+ pairs of Jordan 11s, more likely he got the same 50% off C-Suite executives get when they want more than 2 pair at once. Those vacations he gave away were definitely not freebies.

Stafford is just like Tannehill, Goff will entertain that peer group as well.
Starting QBs in this league get payed well, but there is a difference between starting and winning and that has nothing to do with salary.

So what! 6 of their 11 wins were on the road. I didn't say they didn't play well at home so I don't know why you would make that strawman's argument.

#2 seed right now where we wouldn’t have to face both Rodgers and Brady. Rams are a very good team, but much rather take my chances seeing Stafford at home and then facing the winner of the TB GB contest. Yes, #1 seed is nice but this team needs to stay sharpe and have the best matchups
Boo to this entire concept.

We can whip any of them on any field.

That’s true. That say, Secaucus,New Jersey vacations are starting to get pretty popular.
