I'll add... Officials talk. Officials watch games too. They have a pre-game just like teams. They go into it knowing what teams are known for, so they are most likely going to look for those things.
When Refs/Penalties are a problem..you just aren't dominate enough. Simple as that to me...
Fans can spin whatever nonsense they want but this is an undisciplined team.
It is not so much how many for or against is the issue. It is the timing of the call at critical points.
Ones that take a way a score, or kills the drive. Keeps other teams drives alive.
However we have a lot of legit calls at those times as well, players being stupid.
Also it is the not calls that are more damaging.
How many bad holding calls, how many DPI or OPi, roughing the passer calls that are not called evenly called. Or not called at all.
so they just can’t say there is a difference of 4 net calls. That is like cherry picking.
3…2…1….waiting on the usuals to chime in with their insults….
We get called for a lot of ticky tack holding calls. You don’t see that?Fans can spin whatever nonsense they want but this is an undisciplined team.

The holding calls were killers this week. First downs taken away almost every ticky tack holding.
What do you mean all of the calls that went against the Chargers? Hello??? The Chargers legitimately committed those calls. You let the Chargers off the hook while you blame ours?A lot of teams get called for ticky tack holding calls. Calls go for you and against you. We benched Connor Williams because of all the holding calls he gets. That’s on him not the officials. We’ve caught our share of breaks this season with calls favoring us. If it wasn’t for all the calls that went against the Chargers in week two we would have lost that game. It’s bad enough when fans start complaining about the officiating but when the players and coaches do it, it looks bad. Now the team and the coaches are using officiating as an excuse for being a stupid team that keeps shooting themselves in the foot. Let the players and coaches blame the officiating when they get knocked off in the playoffs.

What are you talking about?I never said they never committed those penalties. However we were given a sack on what just about everyone thought was a no sack. That pretty much did them in. The Chargers also had a TD called back due to a penalty. Chargers fans were screaming the same thing our fans scream when calls go against us.

How smart and disciplined would I be at that age and income level? Crispy carcass on the side of the road in my lamboI been saying that for years, very undisciplined as well, not very smart also.
Are you aware Mike McCarthy's Packer teams were consistently among the least penalized teams in the NFL?
Guess who has the fewest penalties in the NFL this season?
Different players and different teams. McCarthy also ended up getting fired in Green Bay. Was he being heavily scrutinized and criticized in Green Bay for his endgame decisions? He certainly has with the Cowboys.
What are you talking about?
That sack by Micah on Herbert was correct. The officials blew the whistle and called a sack in order to protect Herbert.
The Chargers TD was correctly called back because of their foul committed.
Both calls were called correctly.
You might not like or agree with the calls, but both calls were made correctly by the officials.
Probably? I'm assuming that would be a reason he got fired?
