Does anyone think Dak is better than Romo was?

Romo over Dak any day.

But that is the past and this team needs to focus on the future. The organization needs to look for a QB in this draft that is smart, accurate and can move in the pocket.

However, nothing will change until Jerry Jones steps down as GM and hires a good one.

I said yesterday that we are left with the same results for both Romo teams and Dak teams. Which is frustration and disappointment and their seasons combined to add to 25 years of failure.

Yesterday was “early 2021 Dak”, he just wasn’t getting the same defensive looks he benefitted from early in the year.

Yesterday wasn't early 2021 Dak. The run game kept the team balanced and defenses off balanced.

Bro, just stop. The whole football world knows he can’t get it done.
No just part time football fans know it. People that understand the game. Know that he’s more than capable of taking a team to a championship

Well the Cowboys lost under both Dak and Romo.

But I rather go out swinging or trying to win; so I probably pick Romo over Dak.

Dak and the Cowboys took the easy way out to the loss by calling a QB sneak instead of a Hail Mary & then blaming the refs.

Instead of potentially making history with a Hail Mary if they were able to convert it for a TD like the pass below…

It was a continuous choke play to play. Dak doesn't belong in the same sentence as a Tony Romo..one of the most clutch 4th quarter QB's of all -time.

Yet Romo had his equally ugly games and losses in playoff and/or elimination games. Including him throwing an INT against the WFT with the division and a trip to the playoffs on the line. Dak didn't get it done yesterday and Romo didn't get it done in 10 years of his career.

I was livid when Romo wasn't even given a chance to compete in 16 and basically tossed to the curb like yesterday's trash. I mean Romo had his bad games. But to me,Tony was definitely a smarter QB as well as a better passer. Seemed to make lesser WRs better. Dak should be all world with this talent and he's not. He's an average QB propped up by the talent of the roster. Give him lesser receivers he's below average.

I agree about Romo, smarter Football IQ and better passer. he also stood in the pocket to take hits to get the ball completed, lets not forget that.

I am left wondering if Romo be a QB coach for Dallas. He could impart some wisdom to Dak perhaps. he certainly knows the game and situations.

Your reputation and disapproval Prescott. Even when he does well. Shows you have no integrity of the subject

We do not need a defensive coordinator. Romo would make a horrible coach. It’s not a good people person

We need to stop bringing up Romo, it was time to move on and I was glad we did in 2016... It was beyond obvious that Romo wasn't going to be the guy to take us where we need to go. I was 100% on board with Dak going into 2016.

Im at that same point with Dak, it's obvious that he isn't the guy, he's an average QB that lacks the it factor.

I thought similar to you at the time. In hindsight I think I was wrong. Romo was the better QB. But hey, Aikman didn't get his job back in 1991. Coaches stay with the hot hand most of the time.
