It's pretty hard to even know what was supposed to happen on that play. I can guess, but if everyone was trying to do their correct assignment that is a most ridiculous play design ever.

Look where the C went to block, all he had to do was go heads up on the MLB right in front of him

Yeah, that was pitiful. Biadasz, in addition to Holder Williams, needs to go. We need a new LG and C next season. I'd even take Farniok at this point, anything is better than Biadasz.

Said last night that I'm jealous of watching other OLs in the playoffs opening up holes for their RBs. Pollard still should have gotten more touches, but Zeke getting stuffed isn't all exactly his fault either.

This is all on the centre. There is no way that he is called to block down on that other Linebacker, take the Mike and its a potentially good gain, most other OL did an OK job

Shame on Dak for leaving 2 defenders unblocked!

You know what’s funny? Some people on here have said it’s fine because our C and LG are “better than most of the league”. Even if that’s true, that doesn’t take away how horrible they’ve played. No QB or run game will be successful with blocking like that.

Part of that is on the coaching staff that run the schemes.

Also, Dak haters will be very quiet in this thread.
I won't, he's crap.

Maybe if we came out in something that they weren't expecting something better would have happened
...
Too freaking simple to stop, and horrific blocking scheme. Great example of what is wrong with the running game.

Kellen Moore barely played QB in the NFL and then inherited a QB coach job for a year followed by the keys to calling the entire offense. I definitely question his ability in knowing what it takes to build a good running game and to communicate that vision to the players and OL coach.

who was Biadasz blocking? 54 just marched in.....

that's why I keep saying Biadasz and Williams aren't man blockers, they are better zone blockers.....he totally whiffed on that play
And williams got pushed sideways and couldn't hold his block that help close the hole that was supposed to be available in the middle....

that was a dumb scheme. that's stubbornness... we should have started with Pollard and run an outside zone and let him pick up yards on his own. Zeke's feelings be daamned.

oline looking like an elite group on that play. got a huge push to the right essentially leaving one man he had to beat on a cut back but he farted fell down instead.

the defense confused them. nobody accounted for 54 coming up the middle....that's biadasz job to call the line blocking. he blocked no one. martin already pushed his man to the side and had him on the ground. Smith and Williams doubled the DE and pushed him to the middle, which actually closed the hole for Zeke.

For me, this is the crux of the season and why I want a new OC and OL coach. When every single OL outside of Steele regresses, then that is an indictment on the coaching.

im with you
Fire the OC and OL coach but it won’t happen

It happened because there is no coaching. No discipline. Or this coach came in and tried to change everything and the players can’t catch on and has no clue and just winging it. Looks like they are confused and the defense is not doing anything tricky. They used to line up and block. They knew the old system so well they could pass defenders off or bury there guy and be in the second level. Maybe instead of doing there job they are trying to help the guy next to them and letting people through. Should be one on one.

Travis Frederick was a high IQ guy. Frederick double majored in computer engineering and computer science at the University of Wisconsin. The o-line isn't the same without him. He could probably read defenses/blitzes better than most QBs.
TFred is gone, so is Roger and Randy.....too bad we can't live forever...

Same exact thing, with the defense unable to stop the run. If we didn’t have such exceptional coaching this team would never even have won the division

I truly believe this team over achieved. If not for excellent coaching. I don’t think we would’ve even won the division. Now I know people think I’m crazy saying that about the coaching staff. But we had maybe two elite players on both sides of the ball possibly three. The rest were average penalty makers. So disgusted I could spit nails.

Zeke is washed up. The sooner you realize that the better.

The blocking still sucked. It doesn’t have to be either/or.
Best all A round running back in the entire league right now. Washed up I don’t think so. And I didn’t want him in the first place so. His blocking skills ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Running that’s on the line
