Dan Quinn don’t bring that garbage run defense back

I’m glad Quinn is back in the building but he better come back with solutions to stopping the run via draft & FA. If he fails to improve the run defense he should be fired and never get an opportunity for H.C.

Need true run stopping DTs like Vita Vea.

I second that post times ten . Tired of seeing us gashed with the run because they refuse to use a high draft pick on a defensive tackle
It's been our Achilles heel for a decade maybe two

OSA, Gallimore, and Hill are all top 100 picks? They haven't used a first, but are you saying you would redo last years draft and skip Parsons to take a DT?

I'm all for prioritizing a complete DT in the offseason, but DQ isnt the guy to put pressure on. GM makes the roster. Your DC is down the list a bit on who calls those shots.

You can only coach the guys you have. This post needs to be directed to the GM. Another swing and miss posting on the Zone.

As long as his defense continues to create turnovers and get off the field on third down at a high rate I’m good. The problem with this year’s team, for the first time in many years, wasn’t the defense.

He got to draft slightly overrated Nashon Wright in the third round. He can pull strings to get a complete DT via FA or draft.

And the Cowboys also took a DT in the 3rd round of the draft last year....To get a "complete" DT in the draft you are pretty much dropping a 1st. FA may be unrealistic based on the cap situation. This isnt a DQ issue, its a Jerry/Stephen issue.

While this true, we also seem to get gashed on the edges.Any misdirection seems to kill us everytime where our DE’s get fooled and don’t set the edges.

He needs to get with JJ and McClay and let him know he needs DT. 2 of them. The smaller side DT we maybe ok. But need a big nasty beast..

We also need to get another real LB in here. Micah struggled at times in the run game this past season. He has to improve there. Leighton Vander Esch needs to get run out of here, he's done. LB is an area of need that some people are not paying attention to. Jabril Cox looks promising. I don't think that I would bring Keanu Neal either.

An improved Micah in the run game, a healthy Jabril Cox, a draft pick and maybe another FA will help. They may keep Neal, but I wouldn't.

A big thumper MLB who’s not afraid to stick his head in there and be able to shed blockers.

I still think they keep Vanderesch if he's affordable. Guess a lot of that will be determined by whether DQ wants him back.

Man, I'm in a town that really value LBs. From Jon Beason and Dan Morgan from the U to Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis. We need these types and Vander Esch aint it to me.

Golston & Basham are the worst DEs that they drafted and brought in FA.
