That's what I'm hoping happens. I hope Congress gets involved and finds enough trash on the Jones to force them out of the league. Then we can get a real owner and a real GM and have a real chance at winning again.
that would be good, but I doubt it happens.

Why would we want congress and our tax dollars focused on an individual workplace HR issue that has already been settled by the parties involved?

……and why should we want a body that has committed these exact type of offenses for decades, investigating this? This would be the last group that should be casting stones…..or page boys

Congress might not be satisfied because they weren't with the NFL's handling of the WFT situation.

Because it makes no sense that Dan Snyder who was facing accusations himself could hire the investigator and have the investigator answer to him.

World of a difference

Because the settlement is the only real justice you are going to get. What do you imagine is the best case for a prosecutor even IF they decide to go forward. At best you get a couple misdemeanors he gets a couple years probation and nothing comes of it and that is assuming everything goes the best possible way. Then you are right back where you started with the civil case.

Look, in this case I think a settlement is the best outcome for the cheerleaders. At worst, a creepy guy caught you in underwear or maybe even nude but no physical contact was made - and you get half a million dollars for it. Personally, I feel that is a huge net benefit to the “victims”.

Shoot, I wouldn’t mind if I was a Cowboys football player for Jerry’s wife to “accidentally” walk in to the locker room while I was showering and make a quick buck via settlement.

I hope Congress investigates. I was initially sold by the Cowboys' statements, but at this point I think it smells like a cover up for their boy Rich.
This is what I feel too. Jerry would cover this up because the Cowboys image is more important than his daughter.

The Dallas Cowboys are the dregs of the NFL. On and off the field.

The Cowboys say they conducted their own investigation so there is some similarity. None of this was ever investigated by people not paid by the Cowboys.

Its not creepy..stop it. Completely normal, his actions however were not professional.

No it's downright creepy and weird, absolutely
NOT normal. He's not some 12 year old boy trying to sneak a peek.

Goodell already stuck it to the Cowboys with the Zeke suspension. I guess Goodell finally said, "I've exacted my pound of flesh from Jerrah. Enough is enough."

The NFL has nothing to gain in investigating this and what reason would they use?
Right. Just sweep it under the rug. Cheerleaders settled . Done deal as far as NFL is concerned if nobody’s causing an uproar anymore.

But it looks like Snyder is going to be investigated.
