Rodger got a check from jerry for 5 mil to make it go away lol. Not a fact just speculation.
So jones keeps the team now
So jones keeps the team now
that would be good, but I doubt it happens. That's what I'm hoping happens. I hope Congress gets involved and finds enough trash on the Jones to force them out of the league. Then we can get a real owner and a real GM and have a real chance at winning again.
I agree, but how could it get worse as far as results on the field.Careful what you wish for. We assume the new ownership would be better, but you never know.
Why would we want congress and our tax dollars focused on an individual workplace HR issue that has already been settled by the parties involved?
Congress might not be satisfied because they weren't with the NFL's handling of the WFT situation.
Its not creepy..stop it. Completely normal, his actions however were not professional.Weird creepy situation
Because the settlement is the only real justice you are going to get. What do you imagine is the best case for a prosecutor even IF they decide to go forward. At best you get a couple misdemeanors he gets a couple years probation and nothing comes of it and that is assuming everything goes the best possible way. Then you are right back where you started with the civil case.
This is what I feel too. Jerry would cover this up because the Cowboys image is more important than his daughter.I hope Congress investigates. I was initially sold by the Cowboys' statements, but at this point I think it smells like a cover up for their boy Rich.
The Cowboys say they conducted their own investigation so there is some similarity. None of this was ever investigated by people not paid by the Cowboys.Because it makes no sense that Dan Snyder who was facing accusations himself could hire the investigator and have the investigator answer to him.
World of a difference

Right. Just sweep it under the rug. Cheerleaders settled . Done deal as far as NFL is concerned if nobody’s causing an uproar anymore.Congress might not be satisfied because they weren't with the NFL's handling of the WFT situation.
The NFL has nothing to gain in investigating this and what reason would they use?
