I’m in the middle with Dak . Get rid of him and your where ? With Dalton the bulk of the previous season it was 6-10 . Rush ? He’s a capable back up no more no less . The juries out on all these “ hyped # 1 Qb’s taken round one last year , none seem to have the look of SB but who knows. It took a gunslinger who throws interceptions like Stafford 13 yrs to get to a SB.

I think # 4 needs a better OLine and fresh legs to rotate in with 21 & 20. When Zekes hobbling around because he’s physical stop giving him 15 carries get an alternate to rotate with Pollard. In other words losing Cooper not the end of the world by any means .

# 4 is a better look then 7-9 no mans land.
Get rid of him and get Watson who begged to come here.

It’s actually really simple. All we need is a QB and cowboys make the NFC championship game every year since 2016.

Watson
Wilson
Brady

All QBs that legitimately could’ve been acquired if it wasn’t for the fact that Jerry thinks he can turn Drew Lock into Drew Brees

I think the front office is clueless but hope is eternal. A fan til the end. Jones does own real estate in the head of a lot of fans and folks on this board. If I felt like some I definitely wouldn’t waste my time here.

Yep agreed. Dak is somewhere between average and above average. Not the worst QB by far. But yes should not be getting paid top 5 QB money.
If this was school and 85-92 was a B, Dak would be a 83 or 84.

I'm shocked there are so many Cowboys who simultaneously believe that last year's Dallas Cowboys were a legit Super Bowl contender but also have the worst front office in the world. You know, the same front office that built a Super Bowl contender.

Last year's 12-6 record (including the 49ers loss) says everything you need to know. They were 6-0 against the NFC East and 6-6 against the rest of the league. In other words, an average team that was capable of scoring lots of points against bad teams.

So why not accept that their record speaks for itself and that it reflects the quality of the front office. Yes very delusional and nowhere near deserving of the national media attention, but not perennial bottom feeders like the Lions, Jets, Jags or other teams consistently getting top 5 draft picks.

Just tired of delusional Cowboys fans who have to have an extreme view on everything.
All comes down to how fans manage their expectations and whether they're all about the postseason.

But the one irrefutable fact is they do not stand tall against the better teams. And that is how any team should be judged.

Its so funny when people wait for something to happen (or not happen) and only then chastise others for previous bad hopes or predictions. Its the easiest thing in the world to do. Youre no smarter than the rest of people jweekender, dont fool yourself.

Not being delusional, but believing that the players would rise above the inept management around them, and want to win a championship.

I’m not “shocked “ that you’re having difficulty with comprehension

no rational person here saw Dak play in the second half of the season and thought we’re a SB contender, yes we do have an absolutely horrific front office that is run by a moron and his son

any other questions?
There are plenty of Cowboys fans who thought the Cowboys were SB contenders not only through the end of last season but also believe we should go all in and make a run this year.

That's me telling you to shut your hole and go sit down in a nice way.

That's a fair point. But then again, if Cowboys fans believe our front office is that terrible, why did so many of them jump onto last year's hype bandwagon and then go into the offseason still believing this team is a Super Bowl contender?
Pure hope.

Lol as if there wasn't talk around the league and in Vegas that had the Cowboys as superbowl contenders. It wasn't just fans.

We lost because of moves not made, players not drafted, positions not addressed, and very poor player analysis. Jerry builds a team just good enough to remain relevant.

Since only two teams out of 32 had a better regular season record, you can say this about any team with 11+ wins.
